Yes finaseride is designed to shrink the prostate, apparently via both atrophy and apoptosis. It is hard to believe any meaningful volume reduction would be seen in just a few days especially in the presence of supraphysiological dosages of testosterone. For immediate reduction of urethral side effects alpha blockers are the drugs of choice (e.g. Flomax, Rapaflo).

I've always combined fina with doxazosin. Works well for me. Re BPH, not for hair loss. Care less about that hair.
You'd be suprised Mike about how well fina controls dht even at supraphysiological levels.

Ill look into this with my urologist next time I come in. Good to see you too.

I have had diagnoses of prostatitis and BPH in the past. Even before AAS use and I would have dietary triggers for prostatitis. I know it is hell.
