I try to eat about 200 grams of protein a day. I always try to eat carbs with protein because i try to get an insulin spike that will help absorb the proteins in the muscles. I believe carbs are just as important for building muscles as protein and the two work together work together to build muscle. So my question is it better to eat complex carbs or simple carbs to create an insulin spike in the body and is what i am saying is true?
