Any one have any luck combating SSRI induced sexual problems?
I am currently on 7.5 mgs of Lexapro a day and am experiencing the SSRI sexual sides. Currently on 200mg of Test E a week and I take 4 IUs of HGH per day for about 3-4 days. Has anyone successfully found a drug combo that works well to combat this pain in the ass side effect?
Caber? Prami ? Viagra? Tren ? Maybe i should be taking more Test? Estrogen blocker?

Was on SSRI's most of my life and the only sexual side I experienced was it took me forever to reach orgasm. The only thing I found to combat that was time after many years my body just got use to the medicine and became somewhat normal.
If your having other issues like ed use Cialis , great stuff .

Anorgasmia - very common with SSRI’s.
May need to try a different medication and I think there’s some data around adding Wellbutrin as adjunct therapy by increasing some norepinephrine. I might be mistaken, but worth inquiring or reading up on. It’s tricky.
I know there’s drugs like Vyybrid and some newer types of SSRI’s with less sexual SE’s
Quick edit - when I’m running tren and have some finishing issues that are prolactin induced, I just finish the job myself and have her watch. I’ve found they love it and I can get a friction fire going without feeling stressed or anxious about it. Give it a shotLast edited by SampsonandDelilah; 10-08-2021 at 05:29 PM.

I was on the max dose of 20mg Lexapro for about 8 months after my ex died, I think it gave me a tic. Didn't have sexual problems though.
If one SSRI isn't perfect for you then try another, maybe Zoloft or Prozac won't have the same effect on you.

Some people with anorgasmia have treated it successfully with caber (although, I dunno how successful it'd be since you're taking an SSRI). You might want to hold off from all sexual activity (including self love) for like a week or two and then give it a go.
What I think you should do though is talk to the doctor that prescribed you the Lexapro and let him know you're having this problem from it. There are other SSRI options and one might give you the relief you need while not giving you the sexual side effects. And who knows? Maybe he'll prescribe you caber?

Caber
I got a prescription for Caber from my endo
My psychiatrist didn’t want to hear about my anorgasmia .
I am able to get by on very small doses of caber at .25 mg .
The half life is very long , so 2/week is a good regimen.
Its the only thing that helped besides lowering the ssri dose .
Snri in my Case

I would try and switch from lexapro. I used to be on SSRI/SNRI etc and tried 5-6 different ones that had varying degrees of sexual dysfunction. I had switched to Trintellix as it and Vyybrid at the time were newer and supposedly carried less sexual dysfunction. I found that to be the case for Trintellix and didn't suffer the issues I had on the 4-5 other drugs I had tried. I'm unsure about Vyybrid but the only downside is it was very expensive. Best of luck!

I was on Citalopram 20 mg for the duration of a relationship where I only came twice with that girl. It lasted 6 months. She was really hot, too.

It really is pot luck with finding an SSRI whose benefits outweigh the drawbacks for you.
As I said, Lexapro worked fine for me, but it seems others have had problems with it.
You would need to switch to each SSRI for 3 weeks until you find the one that doesn't ruin your sexual function. Maybe try switch to Prozac first and stay on it for 3 weeks to see how it goes. If Prozac doesn't do the trick then try Zoloft next.
There isn't a more sophisticated way of doing this than simply switching for 3 weeks and seeing how it goes.
By the way, in tandem with finding the right medication, I'd be looking for a mental cure. I do 10 days of silence at a Buddhist meditation centre every year and it helps me.

You need a new psychiatrist. No matter what medication or therapy you undergo if you have crappy libido or can’t orgasm you will still be depressed as a man. Remind them of “eat, sleep, fuck” the the main drivers that make a man a man. I’d already be searching for a new doctor though.
