    Shipment seized

    Hey guys,

For the first time in 20 years I got a shipment seized. At first I thought maybe I got ripped off but then I got a letter from customs saying my package was seized and a list of options if I wanted to try and get my stuff.
It was raws and I'm thinking I should just ignore the letter and pretend it never happened.
Anyone else get a letter? How did you handle it and did you ever hear back from customs? Will they add my name to some flagged list that will make it harder to get stuff from overseas now?

Ignore it. Unless you bought enough for a large scale manufacturing operation, they are likely just fishing, to see if you are dumb enough to come claim the goods.

If you did order enough to make it worth their while, you likely wouldn't have received the letter. A nice delivery man would have shown up to make sure you got your product and got your signature. Then the trouble would begin...

I digress. Ignore it, you never made that order.

Never got a seizure letter myself, but I wouldn't respond. Next time order domestic.

Have gotten several. 2 of them back to back. If you have to order international again and it's a "restricted" item, you'll need a new receiving address.
Personally, I would stick to domestic for a while....a long while

I wouldn't worry about it. They're not going to waste resources going after somebody who just bought enough for personal use. Hell, they'd have to make the case that you were the person who bought that stuff in the first place. They don't want to catch you using gear. They want to catch you manufacturing/dealing gear.

Now I would probably show the place you bought it from the seizure letter and see if they can resend you the package but to another address.

In future, there are enough domestic dealers that there isn't any point in buying overseas. It takes forever to send from out there and the risks don't really meet the savings in price.

I got a seizure letter from Customs several years ago and I just never ordered from that place again, their method of packaging was not really great either, I go for domestic when I can, I will say that there are a couple of reputable places in the states where it’s as short as a week from order

Yep. Old post. But I recently had an order seized as well. First one. Time to go strictly domestic. Gonna miss some of the "deals" though. Overall, it beats catching a court case.

As everyone else has echoed, the best advice is always just burn or shred the letter and act like nothing happened, don't incriminate yourself. However, if you need to receive another shipment internationally (perhaps the source is offering a free reshipping), you definitely need to use a new name and address for the new shipment. You could keep ordering internationally forever if you have an endless supply of names and addresses, but that's easier said than done!

Not everybody has a friend/family member that would be cool with them mailing gear to their house.

It kind of makes you miss the days where you bought your gear off that one dude at the gym. You might've paid more, but there's no chance on getting your gear seized at customs.

    Still do that today...
Used Anabolics Online years ago. Shipping was coming out of Cz Rep. and I never had any problems.

General advice is to ignore it. Some sources may reship if you send them [your source] the letter. Use a different address even if you have to open a PO box.

    Lightbulb “That confiscated feeling”

Welcome to the club. 20 years is a fantastic run without losing. Shipment to customs seizure. In my case, it’s 10 years. I had the feeling my gear was clipped when the tracking showed it at customs for more than two days. Over a week went by and I received the same letter you are referring to. My guess is your shipment was small? Mine contained 6 10ml test cyp, test e, test p.

First, I suggest to call your lawyer. If you don’t have one, Google free legal advice and you will find plenty. My lawyer advised me to ignore the letter and lay low for a while. Do not use the same name and address to receive anabolic steroids or other contraband for overseas shipments as your address and name are held in a database which is used by customs agents at JFK, LGA, LAX, MIA and all the rest. Each airport has reciprocity and the information is shared. It sucks, I know. Especially in my case after landing a legit source with great prices. Pharmaceutical grade that everyone loves. If also for others besides yourself, you will just have to disappoint them and tell them you won’t be able to help them anymore.
Had you been pinched with a large quantity, you likely would not get a letter, and be served for a legal process, and be required to appear in court. The USA is cracking down again recently on gear from China, India, and other countries. Raw powders used to be a lot easier to get away with but not anymore. Your source will try to convince you to pay the shipping and give them a different address so they can make good and keep you as a customer, but it’s not worth it as they are likely flagged also, and now run the risk of being shut down. Find a domestic supplier and follow their procedure. Some require crypto payment and others will accept zelle or other forms of payment. But no more overseas purchases using your name and address. If you choose to continue and risk it, there is a chance you may receive a controlled delivery. Don’t fall for it. Some lawyers say after about a year, your name will fall off of the hot list and shipments may get through again but if confiscated a second time, things may escalate so just forget about it and move on. Don’t sign the letter that you acknowledge the confiscation and destruction of your purchase. Shred the letter and pretend you didn’t order anything. That’s it.

That's bad advice. If you ordered something illegal, it gets seized and somebody questions you about it, you exercise your 5th amendment right and shut the fvuk up. Nobody has ever talked their way out of getting arrested, but many people have given LEO what they needed to arrest them by running their mouths.

If they had enough evidence to arrest you when they questioned you, they were going to anyways. All you're doing by running your dick licker is making it harder for your lawyer to get you out of it.

I see your point. Either silence or if you cant shut up then deny. I bet for many people it is easier or more natural to deny when being questioned then to shut up though. If you deny ordering or knowing anyhing about a parcel, it is kinda hard to talk yourself in though. But yeah, silence is the best probably

This is getting outside the scope of steroids , but if you lie, they can get you with making a false statement or obstruction.
    https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/1001

Looks like you can get up to 8 years on that alone (in addition to whatever else they've got on you).

So it's best to just exercise your right to not self-incriminate and stay silent. And this doesn't just apply to being questioned about gear. Never talk to cops (federal or local). It's up to LEO to prove you did what you did, you don't owe them an explanation of anything. Everything you say will be used against you, but LEO has no obligation to use anything you say that might help exonerate you.
