Heart rate of 200 bpm!?
So every now and then I'll get like a flutter in my chest almost like a jolt and turns into heart palpitations. Not sure if right word but my heart beats super fast. Can feel it beating out of my chest. Gets to over 200 to 250 bpm. Feel little lightheaded and maybe little achy jaw. Been happening for as long as I can remember prob around 12 years old. Last a few minutes sometimes 30 minutes. Brought it up to my Dr but she didn't seem concerned. But it still sketches me out. Not sure it it like skips a beat here and there it's hard to tell. Any help would be appreciated. Just had an episode at work lasted about an hour of over 200 bpm. Back to resting 60bpm now.

Well im not a doctor , but if it beats for 30 minutes at 200bpm, that cant be normal lol. I dont know how it is in english but that sounds like something they call hearth rhythm disorder or something like that in my language. Im not sure this is the best place to ask for advice, maybe find some medical forum / q/a paige, contact a different doctor online or by call.

I had a few of those episodes in the past. I still get those heart skips from time to time. If I have a hard day... like yesterday where I did 19 miles on the bike (in the elements) at 250 lbs and then smoked a couple of cigarettes with a couple of gin and tonics, ate some trash... at night I had that fluttery feeling in my chest.
That feeling you describe, OP, is what got me to go to a cardiologist and do a stress test with an echocardiogram. I found out I had a borderline mitral valve prolapse with a slightly enlarged left ventricle. The doctor didn't say whether the sensations I was feeling were related. I think mental and physical stress can cause me to have these smaller episodes from time to time.
Mine got so bad that I was having panic attacks where it felt like I couldn't breathe and I'd start clamming up and get pins and needles in my arms. I dealt with that for a year before going to a psychiatrist and getting some medicine for when I started feeling it coming on. Took a low dose SSRI for a year, along with ativan for when I needed it. I haven't had one of those bad episodes in years. Knock on wood.

See a heart doctor. This happened to me and they ran a ECG. Have Atrial Fibrulation. Most people (over 50 percent) have this type of heart issue. Generally handled with a Beta Blocker at correct dosing.

Ive never snorted cocaine before, ..but i would think my HR would rapidly fluctuate. I would imagine if I came to a steroid forum and told everyone about my heart rate running from 60-200 I would find the answer I was looking for. Such as trying Xanax or soma do offset the rapid heartbeat. Good luck bro
