has anyone ever heard of a steriod called prednisone, a friend gave it to me and i can't find any info on it anywhere.

That's a catabolic steroid .. used to ease inflamation and many other things. you don't want to be injecting that.

It's for asthma, Bro just because it's a steroid doesn't make it a Anabolic /Androgenic Steroid. You could find any info because it's not for muscle building

Prednisone sucks. I have SLE and have to take a small dose every day. In my case, it shuts down the immune system and reduces inflamation in the joints.

Don't take it, it's like kryptonite to a bodybuilder

it's a corticosteroid and will make you weak and feel like crap. i had to take it for imflammation once and got off becuz it made me feel so bad

yea the whole weeking of the muscle tissue is for long term use of it. usually it is given to asthma patients and prescribed in short dosages like a 5 day blast because it is really bad for you. I have taken it and still do but only when i am not breathing well and i am far from weak. but like everybody else said it will not help build muscle, did your friend tell you it would?

yea i had to take it for 5-6 days and tapered it off after the first day

Jesus Christ!!!..Do not take that drug unless you are prescribed to do so..It is definitely not for the application that you are wanting and it has some really nasty side effects..Tell your friend to stick it in his ear..

im takin pred rite now and man dont take it, for me i have to otherwise ill prolly be in tha hospital and all these guys are rite about weaken muscles i went from benchin 195 (bodyweight 135) to benchin 145(bodyweight 145) only good thing it does is increase ur appetite ull eat all day if u can, ur stomach becums a never ending pit but trust me that bodyweight i gained is ugly. since we're on tha topic of pred how would it react with anabolic steroids .

I dont have any probs taking it while on cycle. I have been on cycle for 16 weeks and have taken it off and on throughout the cycle. I only take it for 5 days or so just when my asthma is bothering me. but i do not know about if you are on it long term how it would react. I know long term use of prednisone is really bad in that it promotes the onset of ostoperosis (weakening of the bones).
