Calf injection=Big no no
I injected 1cc of SUS into my calf on Wed, the next day it swole up about 2 inches and hurts like a mofo. Burns and I can hardly walk, but it looks good all swoled up, LOL Its starting to get alittle better now. I dont think ill hit the calfs anymore, unless it keeps the extra 2in then I may just go through this again for the other one

calves are a bad idea. gravity is pulling all the blood in your body downward, so you hit an artery in your calves and all that pressure is gonna cause big problems.

I never had a issue with them, I use to use the calves for a rotation site with fina and prop.

I used to shoot my calves regularly, until I read this and a few other articles like it recently. Not worth the risk if you ask me.

Sort of like injecting in your forearm, only a little bigger (for some anyway!).

I can see the concern but the Popliteal Artery and Vein Trapped in the Medial Head of Gastrocnemius would be hard to hit with a 25g needle. I dont see why you would want to use a large or long needle in such a small injection site like the calf, bi,delt. All injections pose a risk of hitting veins. If not a medical docotr who knows anatomy hands down than your posing a risk to yourself by any type of injection. Also the popliteal vein lies between the artery and the bone. How many times have we injected into or bones or hit the bone? I can totally see the concern but there is other things I am more concerned of when doing the things I do.

**** I just read that and my leg is some what swolen and is warm to the touch. So does that mean I have a clot in my calve???
Should I ice my calve down?Last edited by Iron; 01-17-2004 at 11:40 PM.

no the warm swollen feeling is not froma clot. I get swollen every time I do them, I am just more sensitive in that area than other injection sites. I have the worst problems when doing delts, I cant seem to move my arm after I do them and they swell up to look as if I was Quazimoto.

Went and had the calve checked out today. It was just bruised and had blood around the muscle. No clot so im happy about that. No more calve shots for me.

Man ya'll some wussies. LOL just kidding. I inject in my calves all the time, I prefer them. But Sustanon in my calves? No freaking way. Now EQ, test Enthan and sometimes winny, (winny hurts like a bitoch).
Don't be scared..just use some sense. Sustanon is one of the most painful AS to inject.

I get a knot in my calf just like my quad but you know what. Just to side track the thread a bit since we are on injection sites.
I read on here a few times and just the other day to inject a bit higher on the quad and you get no knot and no pain next day.
Who ever discovered that is right. I injected my daily dosage of tren yesterday and today all good. Love it man. Thank you thank you.

Man you guys are injecting AS that I wouldn't inject in any part but my glute. Gosh with Tren and Sustanon ? Geezum, you gonna have a knot, these two freakin hurt to inject anywhere! NO wonder you guys are complaining about it hurting!
Well to elaborate on what you said Luv, the larger the muscle group the less painful the injection is, due to the density of the muscle. So if you are injecting in a softer less dense muscle of course it is going to be sore. That also holds true to what you are shooting!
