Never ever OK I,m lying I,m not doing any cardio apart from juJitsu once a week and "other" activities
B/F is still at 10/11% so I guess when I start I can get that a lot lower!

Try not too, usually do atleast 2x a week on or off. I don't diet so that is a must for me to stay relatively lean.

I can't! I am too skinny! I would loose my gains. Although, I have gained 2% in fat from the beginning of my cycle. Now I am 12%

It a style developed by the Gracie's in brazil and has become popular world-wide due to the UFC and Royce Gracie.

hey x biker, i met the gracie's, they train at my gym when they are in town, a few of them, and so do a few other ufc guys. they are really nice too.
as for the cardio, never when i am on. i usually take off maybe one or two months a year though, to get refocused.

cardio
I pretty much avoid cardio all the time on or off. But was training in BJJ for a bit. You graple with someone for 30-40min.. it's major cardio workout.

I think the question should be...
Who here neglects cardio period? Ok, I'll admit it...but I can still see my top four abs, so when i start my cardio for my cutting cycle, it should just melt away, because my body isn't used to all the extra work.

I do the stairmaster five minutes before each workout. Thats it. And it shows. I get winded quickly and my bodyfat is to high. Just hate it though. Speaking of martial arts I took Jeet Kun Doo for several years at Danny Inasanto's school in Los Angeles and felt great. The combo of being on Test and not much Cardio has made me feel a lot more sluggish than those martial arts days. The way I feel now makes me realize how important cardio is. Gotta start doing it.

Great topic IG!
My gains are of far more quality when I do cardio when I am on. Improved circulation helps all around when putting on weight (muscle and fat and water). Despite all good intentions though, time and again 5-6 days pass and I have not done any cardio. Looking back, I guess my excuse is that I get to a point where I feel that if I rest, I will grow. I become preoccupied with ingesting calories and making big strides in size. Putting on 10-15 lbs makes it so much harder to get through a cardio session, even though that's when it's needed most. When I am not on, that never happens - I easily stick to a schedule.

Guilty as charged, I usually try to do 15-20 min after my workouts, but because every fatass & their grandmother (literally) have their New Year's resolution I can't even get on a damn machine at my gym/health club. AAARRGGHH I hate those people, they take up all the equipment and parking spaces and you never see them after the middle of February until next year. I bought one of those orbitrek machines for my house, so I'm gonna set it up there. At least I can watch tv while I do it then. I would lift at this hardcore gym in my area, but I'm locked in a contract until next year. Sorry, had to vent..

Wow, I never realised it wouold be half as bad as this. For all those that done or neglect cardio, give your body a chance and just do 2-3 cardio sessions a week of between 30-45 minutes each session for just a month. After that you will never go back
