Claiming Steroids

I went to mexico this past weekend and visited a few shops. I saw about 20 muscle bound college guys chilling at a local Vet Clinic. They were all telling me how they would be claiming the steroids at the border adn be going home. I decided not to pick any thing up this trip and grabbed a cab to go back to the states. Our cab got pulled into secondary (search place) and they made us all get out. As soon as they saw me they automatically assumed that I was smuggling Steroids due to my decent muscular physique. I told him that IU didn't have any on me and he told me that he didn't care if I did but just that I have to claim them. He said that it was legal to bring up to 50 cc's of A.S. a person. Anyone have any experience with this? I am scared to find out but am willing to give it a shot if someone can let me know if this CUSTOMS agent was for real.

Ill definetly bump that. Sounds kina fishy that you could bring, say, 50ml of test e and have more than enough for a good 12 week cycle of it and it would be ok to bring in, but i wanna hear more

I doubt you can claim them...its a controlled substance. It would be like claiming weed at the border.

One should video tape a Border Patrol officer before going across. Have him say it's legal. Then bring back 50 cc's worth and try and claim them. If the bust you, wonder if your video feed would hold up ??

yeah because wouldnt it be entrapment if they tell you that it is legal and then bust you for it.

Last year around June, I personally called the Nuevo Laredo customs at the Laredo border crossing to ask them this question since I have heard it before. I actually called three different times to make SURE. Every time I called and asked them if i could claim steroids at the border and the amount, the customs agent I was talking to told me YES I CAN CLAIM THEM at the border and I would just have to pay a tax. They all told me I could bring back 50ml's for "personal use". So each person in the car could have five 10ml bottles on them to claim. I wanted SOOOO bad to claim it when I went, but i got a runner to take it across. Yall could call them and see for yallselves. Unbelievable but true, unless they are just lying to catch you with them at customs when you claim them. Some guy a while back posted how he crossed and claimed them at customs and they taxed him and let him through with his 5 bottles.

Howdy everybody,

Got to the US Customs web site www.customs.ustres.gov , look for Travel Alerts and Restricted/Prohibited Goods, click on it then go to Medications/Drugs click on it. Congress has just passed a new bill that alows US citizens to bring into the US 50 doses of APPROVED drugs for personal use. This leaves out ALL vet gear. But you con still get test, clomid, nolvadex ,valiums etc.

Luckily I have the balls to bring it across.

since your from San Angelo, I would guess that you went to Nuevo Laredo. Where in N.L. is there a vet clinic where 20 guys could be chilling? I'm a regular to N.L and I know where the vets are located, I can't amagine anybody wanting to chill in them. Most are real vets, and do treat sick animals, and have very limited space, so why would anybody want to chill there?

Now the Cadillac Bar, or Boys Town in Acuna, that a different story.

How bout this? Take a couple vials back w/ you, but only fill them up w/ seaseme oil. Just put them in your pocket and see what happens. If they think it's roids and you don't get nailed then good to go. If so; wtf it's only seaseme oil!

No, entrapment is only for things when a cop perferably an undercover one gets you to do something you normally wouldnt do. Such as an undercover cop dresses as a prostitute and you a normal guy who doesnt ever even think about paying a prostitute for sex, meet and she convinces you to take her to your room. Basically since you would normally buy steroids you wont be able to call entrapment.

in the 80's or 70's the govt passed laws to prevent you from selling flour as crack. People were selling flour saying it was crack making a **** load of money and when they got busted said **** its only flour and were getting off. the govt soon stoped this. I think that your idea would fit in this boat. Also walking over the border trying not to claim your roids would be against the law and you would get fined or something like that for trying to avoid the tax. So next if you took the seaseme oil and said hey i got 50ccs of steroids here to claim and they busted you and then you said well its only s. oil you would fall into the boat of those laws passed in the 80's.

Since buying steroids is legal in mexico thats not the problem. If you come to the boarder and ask if you can cross and they said no you would turn around. If they said yes you would go though. So were they lying it would be convincing you to do something illegal you wouldn't have done. Thats my opinon anyway.

The cop that I talked to seemed to not be feeding me a line of crap. He was a nice guy trying to help me out. I was in ACUNA and there was literally 15 guys ordering VET gear. I think that there has to be some rule that says you can claim VET gear as well since it is sold in the US to people with licences for the use on ANIMALS. I was really contemplating going back and casually claiming 50 cc's of TEST to verify this cops thoery. I got caught last time with NOVLADEX CLOMID and CLENBUTEROL and they gave them right back to me. I think the border patrol officers have lost it.

I read the article and heres what I got:
1) If the drug is approved by the FDA, as a U.S. drug, you can bring it over in limited supplies, no questions asked. For instance, American made Viagra, Claritin, or any other US drug, and schedule, for personal use, is yours.
2) Other drugs, that are unapproved, can also be claimed, under certain conditions.

a.)the intended use (of the drug) is unapproved and for a serious condition for which effective treatment may not be available domestically either through commercial or clinical means;

b.)there is no known commercialization or promotion to persons residing in the U.S. by those involved in the distribution of the product at issue;

c.)the product is considered not to represent an unreasonable risk;

d.)the individual seeking to import the product affirms in writing that it is for the patient's own use (generally not more than a 3-month supply) and provides the name and address of the doctor licensed in the U.S. responsible for his or her treatment with the product, or provides evidence that the product is for the continuation of a treatment begun in a foreign country.

So, you can find FDA approved steroids in Mexico, they can be imported, no questions asked. If you find unnaproved, or VET gear, they may be allowed if you meet the criteria.

So, this leaves a bit up to discretion of the customs agent. If he feels that Testosterone Enanthate is not an unreasonable risk, he will probably just let you pass, however they could be a dick about it and make you show medical reason and supervision.

It would be awesome if there was somebody on the board had either done this or knows someone who has tried it. All the info on CUSTOMS websites doesn't mean anything unless it really works. I want to go down this week, so any info is very informative.

I wouldnt risk it...i mean at least try and hide it and if you get caught and it is truley legal then youll get away with it...but good ****in luck....i still think its crap

Even if its something legal, you still have to declare the item to customs.

Fed. law says ALL prescription meds can only be possesed by the person w/ the script AND must be in the original containor. Even if Customs will allow you to IMPORT personal use pres. meds, you still have to have a script for them. This is to allow persons w/ a script and no insurenance to buy meds in Mexico. They are 'bout 1/4 to 1/3 US prices. There are alot of retired peeps that go to Mex evr 3 months to get meds because they can't aford to buy them in the US.

It ILLEGAL to posses vet gear in the US w/out a script. I'm caring for an abandoned horse right now and some of the meds for the horse require a script.

Anyway, by noon Friday, I'll be in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and I'm planning on bringing plenty of goods back. I'm not going to bother checking w/ customs. Plus, I like have booze w/out pay tax on it. Freaks people out when they see it doesn't have a tax stamp!

Where's the vet clinic in Acuna? I'm going to Acuna on Sunday and I can't think of any that I would want to Chill in. On the right-hand side of the main street, about 4 or 5 blocks down, there's a leather shop that has an armadillo thats standing on its hind legs and wearing a cowboy hat, pistol belt,neckerchef, and has a pistol in one hand and a bottle of tequila in the other. Its so cool, but the old lady will not let me buy it!
