Things you have learned along the way.
This could turn into a very good source of information...for newbies and old pros alike.
List some of the little things you have learned since you started using gear...not the stuff normally seen on these boards, just little intricacies.
1) Order your syringes with the drawing pin already on them (20-21g)...this cuts down on handling the syringe and the needles.
2) I can't inject delts or traps the day after working bis...they cramp...I end up rubbing my arm to remove the cramp...while a syringe is left dangling from my flesh (this results in pain later on).
3) Prior to injecting, stretch the muscle you are injecting...don't flex it.
You get the point...let's hear some of your advice

1. When ordering gear have your sources checked by a few MODS and VETS..... Don't take the word of just one person,
2. If you follow #1 you should be fine with this but always know what your injecting is legit and nothing that will make you sick.
3. I make sure I have everything to finish my cycle from gear, pins, anti-e's, supps.............. You don't want to be looking for these things after you have started.

Funny Da Bull
1) Get/find a secure place to dispose of pins. The last thing you need is a couple needles in the trash when your girlfriend or girlfriends parents are visiting.
2) This should be common knowledge, but it is too import not to list: Aspirate !
3) More is not always better
4) Cut the prop, with something, anything! (sterile oil or other gear)

2. Massage the injection site afterward, it help with post injection pain.
3. Read up as much about a particular AS before using.

1) needles are your friend...
2) pct is a must if you value your sense of maleness...
3) sharing or re-using needles is something herion addicts do, not responsible steroid users...
4) eq or pot: the cure for "i eat everything in sight but i still can't seem to gain weight."
5) AR is the best board around, bar-none...
6) you can drink winny...

1) Injuries, Workout Ending Injuries come in a Snap (sometimes literaly) if you are unfortunate enough to have one of these "season ending" injuries, and YOU DON'T HAVE PCT READY, you have a problem - Have it Before You Start!
2) Cycles often don't go exactly like you planned, I've tried to stop at 16 weeks the last two times and didn't do it, and I won't be this time either.
3) Price is Relative
4)Put your Pride in your pocket, and ask as many questions as you can, but don't believe it until you've proven it true.
5) Just because Billy said that's what he did and it worked for him, doesn't mean it'll work for you.
6) Old guys do stupid things in the Gym that really work.
7)You cannot get enough Sex (Yes it does go here)
8) You are NOT going to go from Play Station Pilot to Thick and Shredded in time for Spring Break, or Summer for that matter.
9)Work out like you not only HAVE a goal, but you want it NOW!
10) If you think you've just hurt something pretty bad, you probably did.
11)Diet, Traning, and Sleep, are TEN TIMES more Important than the Gear.

To get respect...
You must give respect...
Simply treat others as you wish to be treated...

Here is something else that I recently learned.....
If you plan on running the syringe under hot water...make sure the needle cap is on very tight! Otherwise, you can get tap water on the needle...not a problem unless you pull back on the plnger to change needles...now you have tap water in the syringe...not good! I just squirted some rather costly BD product into the sink and had to start over for the day...with a whole new syringe and a new set of needles...of course.

for me personally the one thing i have learned that made the most for me was
a little thing i repeat to myself everyday now. i'm not a big eater and that hurts muscle gain so now i consstantly repeat to myself."Do It With Diet"!
drugs are fine, but do it w/ diet. for me it's a real struggle to consume a ton of calories, but it's the only way. for me thats' the most imoortant thing i've learned, less drugs more clean food!

before drawing say 1 cc out of the vial.... inject 1 cc of air into the vial... this will make it alot easier to draw out

I thought my first cycle was going to make me huge. Since I've learned...
1. Food makes you huge.
2. Steroids are a suppliment.

Great one...
Also always draw with a 20 or 22 gauge pin and
then change to a new pin before injecting...
That rubber in the vial makes those things dull quick...

these are great tips. this should be a sticky!! i wish i had seen this thread earlier. one thing that definitely stuck out was to buy the syringe w/ the drawing needle on it and buy the injecting needles seperately. what a nussance this will be on my first cycle. anyway, there are a ton of great tips from experienced veterans on this thread. good stuff.

don't listen to people who don't have a clue such as people saying var and winny will kill your liver. Do your own research and come up with the answer yourself. A lot of people who give advice on chat forums only give the advice they have read else where but have not attempted in the least bit. I don't listen to that as I have figured out that 17aa, with protection in place, are not going to make you die like people make out. Some people's advice and warnings are so over rated, i pay no mind. Not clowning on anyone in particular, just something i've addressed before and that some newb tried critiquing a cycle of mine on.
Easy way to sum this up, if you are getting advice about particular aas, check someone's profile to see if they've actually taken the substance, and if not, second guess it.

Dedication to your diet and training are the difference between black and white. You can't gain much without eating anything and your going to have a tough time gaining when your sitting on the couch. Go into each workout with a killer instinct, without intensity your never going to be able to set mental goals for yourself. Not everyday is going to be a good day. Those are the days your going to see how strong you really are. You'll get in what you put in. When you see something you don't like you prolly wont have to go much farther then your diet.
Don't compare yourself to others, let them compare themselves to you. It's a sign your unsure of yourself. Don't ever let someone bring you down, because the percentage of the people that will give you and educated answer compared to a smartass, jealous, arrogant comment is extremely low. Mirrors dont lie,but neither do weights. It's one thing to have confidence about yourself, but it's another thing to be too sure of yourself. No matter who you are you can always learn new things everyday..Keep a solid and open mind and it will get you farther then anything else..

#1 (if your cycle includes a healthy amount of test) A "CYCLE WHORE" is a MUST.
#2 Have everything ready prior to starting all gear, anti-e's, pinz, grocery $$$ and a first aid kit just in case.
#3 I actually would recommend making a print sheet of your cycle and tell at least one person you are on (someone close of course) This way should your gear be fake or if anything else goes wrong and you cant get yourself to the emergency room then they can + plus they have a list of whats in your body.
#4 Get a Cycle Whore
#5 Avoid stressful situations I find i'm alot shorter tempered when "on"
#6 Same as 5, pick a time in your life where there arent any forecasted major changes coming your way.
#7 I'd recommend a training partner just to have some competition and some one to keep you motivated
#8 Mark your shots on a calendar, I have a cell phone that has a built in calendar, so I set daily alarms. This helps alot especially when its week 10 and you have other things going on.
#8 EAT EAT EAT, I dont mean just protein shakes. EAT that solid food, steaks, chicken breasts, potatoes, oatmeal if you not full 90% of your waking hours your not eating enough.
#9 Keep a training log and go up in poundages on lifts each week
#10 GET A CYCLE WHORE!
