Wanderlei Silva (Brazil) vs. Hidehiko Yoshida (Japan) Will be one hell of a rematch.
Dean Lister (USA) vs. Ricardo Arona (Brazil), time to see what Lister is capable of in the big league.
This event is gonna be amazing

I would like to see Randleman and Igor go at it. Or Vitor vs Igor, the possible matchups are amazing.

Dan Henderson??? that will be an interesting one!
Vitor should make short work of overeem!
This tourney will be bad ass!
That is why Pride is way better than UFC.
1. better tallent pool
2. fighters get payed better
3. tournaments
4. more fights per show
the only thing left for them to do is come up with a new type of ring!Last edited by phwSSJ; 04-14-2005 at 04:31 PM.

I don't really think that Pride is better then UFC, they have more money and can bring in some amazing fighters.
UFC is getting a lot better. UFC52 is gonna be quit an amazing event.
Hey who cares who is the best we should be happy to still have MMA PPV. LOL

Show was an awesome level of talent for a Bushido event.
I have some of the fights on video. Give me a pm if you want me to upload for you. I posted the Aleksander E. fight here today.

There were only 3 OK fights out of 8. The event was a snooze fest. I keep trying to get my friends into the sport. I get the PPV, food, beer, and all they have to do is show up. They and I were bored out of our minds. The first two fights went the distance. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I am an Igor fan so I convinced them to stay and watch that before we went to a bar. After the end of round 2, I said F it and went out. I did record it but, basically it was a sub par pride event.
Vitor has been out of it for 2 years, and if you don't count the knee strike to eastman when Vitor was roided up to the max then he hasn't had a good fight since he beat a crappy bobby southworth over 4 years ago at Pride 13.
Funny thing was the anouncers made it out that Vitor was the UFC representative of the tournament like CHuck was 2 years ago. I'm not sure if that means Vitor is still under a UFC contract?

Oh and my friends love the UFC. They think the action is amazing. I don't think they will be coming back for another Pride event. They are a good guage for how the general public views these events.

Yeah alot of my friend slike UFC over pride. UFC has a wwf aura around it at times. Lots of heavy metal and " he got rocked" commentary. Plus UFC likes to sign strikers. Vitor looked like ****, whats up with him? Saku got a KO, that a first for him?

That was the most borring pride show ever!
Looks like the old Vitor is gone for good.
It would have been cool to see Vitor and Wanderlei at the end.
Looks like Wandi was luck to win that fight. Wanderlei was either injured or off cycle, cuz he looked like he lost some muscle.
I am guessing it will be Overeem, Silva, or Ricardo Anora
