I like Jermain. He's a class act and a very good fighter. High connection and KO percentage too. Although the best he's done up to date IMO was get a decision over Joppy, I think he may be ready.
He's young and I think he's making a great decision to fight Hopkins. Cuttup is right, age Vs. experience will tell the story.
I think to win Jermaine need's to cautiously press the fight. If he falls into Hopkin's trap of boxing for 12 rounds it's going to be a long ugly night.
This fight has many similarities of the Delahoya Vs. Chavez matchup(s).

saw him fight in fla couple years back. he beat william joppy in dec 04. joppy is a hell of a fighter who had only lost only to hopkins and trinidad until then. actually he had a loss to some bum earlier. taylor is tough, young,(27), and hungry, but he'll have his hands full on july 16 vs hopkins.

Jermaine and the boxing community have had their eye on him winning a title since the olympics..The guy is an excellent boxer without a doubt, but Bernard is a hard, hard man..The guy at this point is on a roll and can't be beaten..He will take it in 12 against Taylor..I think 5 years down the line, when Benard is too old or retired Taylor will be the champion...
