He gets test injections daily, and he is allowed to because he only has 1 testicle. While every other rider's test levels are being depleted from the repeated stress of riding like they do, he stays the same. And once it gets to the mountains the other riders die from the lack of test and Lance is strong like always. No doubt he is a good athlete. But the best ever no way...

The guy still beat cancer and still experiences alot of pain during the Tour. I look up to him for beating cancer, more than i do for his racing...

I think the number one athlete ever is Karelin!!!! Total domination over all opponets. No one had a chanse(except his last olympics, to bad he did that one).

Different people have different definitions of athlete, so naturally there will be differing opinions on who is the best athlete ever...

Its simply not possible to compare athletes from different sports. their is no way to compare say , Babe Ruth to Michael Jordan. To crown one man or woman as the best athelet of the world is nonsensical.
Kind of hard to compare , say , boxing , to pole vaulting , eh ?
