I do not consider Kyo Kushin to be traditional martial art, the training is harder then every martial arts out there and the sparring too, without any protection.

I practiced kyo kushin for a year and a half learned knees, elbows, and so much more, the only part that sucks about kyo kushin is the katas cause the rest is very good.

Has for Andy Hugh, it is quit sad what happened to him this weard cancer he add, he would have been something to watch in MMA today, K-1 are a bit dumb not to put out a dvd about is greatest fights.

Of course it is good in its own competition..but how good is it in when in a MMA fight? Highly unlikely that it would be enough to survive in MMA competition. Bas Rutten also studied Kyo Kushin and stated how tough it is, we have seen a few of their guys enter MMA...Wanderlei beat one of them down at Shockwave 2001, some big fat guy and Wanderlei introduced him to knees and soccer kicks. lol

Alot of MMA guys really respected Andy Hug as i recall a few dedicating thier fights to him after he died.

That was a good video, those inside out kicks are ridiculous, I think it is a true tragedy that such a warrior can be taken away by cancer.

this is what i am referring to. download the gracie bjj vs. kickboxer. i know its a shitty hosting site, but i have no idea how to rehost something somewhere else. also, i know its in .DAT format, but if you just "open with" to windows media player it works. still not sure if it is the same guy, but he looks similar.
