Quinton Jackson will be a free agent upon April 1th
Its on sherdog.com great interview he is so damn funny and has always a class act.
I do agree that he is more marketable then Liddell and Couture and is fights are way more enjoyable too.
Personal toughts are i dont mind where he ends up i just wanna see him fight again, but UFC would sure need a guy like him.

I wouldn't mind at all seeing him in the U.F.C. The cage would be a benifit to his style plus the use of elbows for his g n p. I think he is a very marketable fighter espicially to the younger crowd. Him and Liddell target the same crowd younger people imo. Couture was by far more marketable to the older crowd or those who come from a strong wrestling background. Yes I know Rampage comes from a wreslting background himself but Coutures Greco was always his bread and butter. So after blubbering on yeah he is a Marketable fighter and would be a great addition to the U.F.C.

I agree, he would breathe life back into the UFC. White better step up and try to get him into a contract.

Yeah, plus you'd have all the drama of having a second Rampage v Liddell fight. Good move for the UFC if they bring him in.

Quinton wants to continue fighting til he is 30 then move on to something else.
If you are Carlos Newton and have your diploma to be a doctor then your all set when your pro fighting career is over.
THere are no pension or anything when a fighter retires same has pro wrestling and that is quit sad cause theses guys gave so much for there buisness and sometimes get so little in return.

Nah he shot down that rumor the other day. He said he doesnt care about being famous in America. He needs some big endorsement deals for money but Xyience has a lockdown on all that in the UFC so there is no endorsement deals there.

I wonder how long it will be before we start seeing UFC paychecks come up. I mean, Liddell, Couture, Hughes....those guys all get under $200,000 for a TITLE fight. Pride is over doubling that for their fighters. With the explosion of MMA in the states and the popularity of the UFC on the rise from the TUF, how much longer will it be before these guys start seeing better pay?
