UFC 62: Better than expected
On paper, this card looked like straight up ass. Thank God for small miracles...I thought the event last night had some of the better, more entertaining fights in recent memory, especially compared to 61. UFC 63 and 64 look to be outstanding, so hopefully UFC can keep the momentum going. They really pulled one out of their ass last night.

Yeah i was actually suprised with this one myself. The next couple of cards do look pretty damn good but we'll see what happens.

Griffen/Bonner
I'm not a big TKD fan but i thought it was intereting to see Forrest's reluctance to shoot on Bonner. I remember in their Ultimate Fighter bout, Bonner caught Forrest with a spinning round kick right in the gut. Forrest stayed up but he looked rocked (which must have been brutal because y'all know he normally grins when someone hits him hard).
Just a thought, but someone with sick TKD kicks can present a non-traditional takedown defence. No one wants a spinning kick to the face while they're trying for a take down.

eh...dun't think so man...those TDK kicks are slow...and honestly...if the fighter sees it coming he can easily side step / take down. Almost giving a single leg. Or if you don't want to take down...you can always kick to the 1 leg planted and hurt them instead. TKD just isn't very good in real fighting. It's cool to throw it in once in a blue moon...keep people guessing, but that's about it.
