Man Chuck Liddell will sure have his hands full if he does all of this.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight Champion Chuck "Iceman" Liddell appeared on MMAWeekly SoundOff Radio this week where he discussed his UFC 63 victory over Renato "Babalu" Sobral amongst other topics.
Liddell told MMAWeekly that his next opponent will most likely be "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" Tito Ortiz provided Ortiz gets past Ken Shamrock on October 10th.
Liddell has been pushing hard to get a fight with Wanderlei Silva, and the deal seemed to be close to happening, but fell through recently. Liddell said he felt as if Pride used the in-Octagon announcement as a promotional tool with no real intention of actually putting the fight together. "They pulled out," Liddell explained. He stated that he doesn’t think it has anything to do with Wanderlei Silva, but with the Pride organization.
Besides a rematch with Ortiz and a fight with Wanderlei Silva, Chuck indicated that he would like to fight Quinton Jackson again. Jackson defeated Liddell in the Pride Middleweight Grand Prix in 2003, and Liddell wants to avenge that loss. The UFC Light Heavyweight Champion said "Rampage" signed with World Fighting Alliance (WFA) to avoid fighting him.
Questioned whether he would consider moving up to the heavyweight division, Liddell didn’t rule out the possibility. "I’ll fight anyone," he proclaimed.
When the 36-year-old was asked how much longer he thinks he’ll be competing in mixed martial arts, Liddell replied, "I’m taking that one day at a time." Although Liddell gets a little bit older every day, he assured MMAWeekly he has no plans of hanging the gloves up anytime soon.

Chuck is doing what Chuck does best "Bla bla bla bla bla" that mother****er is believing all the hype around him. Don't get me wrong he is good no doubt, but he has been acting like he is a god or something since winning the UFC LHW belt.
Then again, why should'nt he act like a god with that weak ass LHW division they have full of grapplers.***No source checks!!!***

There will always be those that want to see him fall no matter what he does or doesn't do. He is a great fighter, no one can take that away from him. I would love to see him fight rampage again.

I don't hate Chuck, but i have watched Chuck fight since the beginning so i know better than to believe all the BS hype the UFC spouts. Then again you expect them to say such BS since he is the champ but damn, it's gotten out of hand.
Horn is a 185lb fighter and not a striker, Babalu is good but he is also not a striker.
Vernon White should also be at 185lbs.
There is not one person in the LHW division that is a striker that will stand toe to toe with Chuck and push him around, all these grapplers try to stand like they can strike and all get KTFO.***No source checks!!!***

Yeah maybe chuck realizes all of that crap is a bunch BS and he wants to start having fights that will be a challenge for him. I doubt it though because im sure he's loving all the money, publicity etc. Who knows, i just wanna see him start to fight some better strikers.

In Pride Chuck fought Guy Metzger which is a weak fighter, he knocked him out, then he fought Valentine and knocked him out but got kocked out by Rampage.
That fight was amazing.
Chuck should move on to Pride and fight real competition. I dont personally hate Chuck i just would like to see him fight against good competition.
For me babalu could have beatened him but he made the mistake of charging Chuck and mix it up with him?
If Babalu would have taken this to the ground he could have very well submited Chuck.
I am pertty sure that a Chuck Vs Babalu is gonna happen after all UFC is very good with Triology fights.
Both fights made Babalu look like a total beginner and crappy fighter, he is capable of so much more.

I would love to see Chuck go to pride but i personally dont think he will.
Also if they give Babalu another shot it wont be for a while and he will most likely have to fight a few more times before he gets the title shot again.

There is a rumor flying around that Rampage is going to sign with the UFC to rematch Chuck...that would be cool to see but I think Chuck would take him this time.

It wasn't that grapplers were trying to beat chuck at his own game, they just couldn't take Chuck down. Chuck has beat some very tough LHW (Couture twice, Tito, Belfort, Horn, Randleman, ect.)
