Shamrock retires!
i knew he was gonna do that....by the way he walked into the ring boppin to the music, somethin was not right. I had a feeling, in his mind he was thinkin that "this might be my last fight, im gonna have fun". i think he still took it serious though....but i knew he might retire regardless of whethor he won or lost.
I still think he coulda beat some of the other guys at light-heavy. Not any of the heavy hitters, but. Or maybe he coulda dropped another weight class and faught his way back up to franklin. I think he could beat franklin if he manages not to slip.
oh well, its his body. He knows how much he can take, he knows what his injuries are, so its his call. i miss him already

Murilo has a great point about the ifl, I mean Kerr is fighting but he was suppose to fight last time to. IFL seems to be a good fit for some of the aging vets, JUST DONT LET HIM COACH HAHAHAHA

That was the gayest fight ever... I dont care that it was for free to watch.. I almost payed to watch it in person!! (they fought a couple miles from where I live) I would have been pissed haahaa.. Whatever, Shamrock went out like a sportsman, that was cool.. Tito still flicked him off though
I Cant wait till Tito's title shot against Chuck.. Ice Man is going to lay it down!

It wasnt gay. At least this time we knew that Shamrock was out and you could tell he was done. I thought it was pretty cool how they made up at the end and they both showed some respect for eachother. Also if anyone didnt see it but i laughed when i saw the back of Tito's shirt, i dont remember exactly what it said but it was something like "punishing him into retirement."
I was actually pretty impressed with Kendall Grove's fight but Ed Herman sucked ass. I love how Ed says he is going to dominate the middleweight division and he sucked ass in that fight. That was a nice triangle that MacDonald had him in. I'll give Ed some credit because he tried like hell to get out of it but it didnt happen. I dont know i dont mean to talk sh!t about him but he just doesnt impress me at all.

Another thing that was pathetic was that jack ass Kendall copying Tito...i can see him winning some more fights over C level competition and trying to act like Tito and then i eagerly await him getting KTFO.
Why the **** do these idiots do that shit? One thing is for sure, the Japanese fans would not like it, but then again they know a little thing about honor and respect.***No source checks!!!***

I knew Tito was going to win, Shamrock is just getting too old and has been through too many injuries to get back to the top. Regardless of the hatred between the two of them, I liked the ending because both showed true sportsmanship towards one another, and thats what it's all about. That's the way any fight or dispute between anybody should be, those are the real men, not these pussies who just pull out a gun and kill each other or gang up on people. IMO a true one on one fight w/ 2 great warriors who can come to a friendship in the end, that it be in the ring or on the streets, is the most beautiful thing in sports.

I just got back online to say the exact same thing. That was just the most pathetic thing i have ever seen. The fight was ok but that just ruined everything. That guy is trying to be to much like tito and i cant wait to see him fight someone that he wont be able to keep on the ground so he gets knocked out.

Didn't need a crystal ball to see that one coming. It actually reminded me alot of fight no. 2. Except this time Shamrock was out cold. It was cool to see them kiss and make up though.

Good fights all around, Sherman isn't living up to the hype he has created for himself as far as I can see. Tito is a one of a kind sportman, he gets the fans going and that fills seats. Kendall doing the "grave digger" thing was just moronic. I really do respect Matt, with his disability he shows great intelligence and he will go a far with more training. Shamrock in the past year has showed a different side, but last night he redeemed himself to a lot of fans. They are all champions to me just to be in the game as far as they are.
What was the website Tito mentioned for his shirts? It was something 99!

Its quit sad to see him go, after all theses years, i was never the same when he came back from is pro wrestling stint.
Ken is a true champion, a legend of mma and he made is mark.
He was a true champ when he admited that he got beaten up a lot in the past years and he wasnt what he used to be.
The fight network should sign him up like they did with Randy Couture.
Theses guys are legends of MMA and we should never lose touch with them, either it be to keep them around has announcers or interviewers or anything revolving around MMA.
