this was part of Tito's contract coming back to UFC. He will fight Dana for 5 rounds, i believe. Dana is a very good amateur boxer.

would prefer to see him box tyson for 5 rounds since tyson is supposed to be preparing to fight in the ufc.
If you ask me its a publicity stunt...next thing you know the camera crews will be fighting eachother on ppv

You are correct sir, Tito had it written into his contract that he and Dana would do a boxing match mainly because in the past Tito and Dana sparred and Dana got the best of him but Tito now feels his boxing has improved 10x and wants to box him now and Dana agreed, they have had cameras following them around for the last 3-4 weeks and there will be a documentary (PPV) about it all. Dana used to be a boxer but said he saw all the old beat up boxers around the gym that never made it and said he also "did'nt have it" so he gave it up.***No source checks!!!***

Boxing is a completely different world from MMA. Its true that boxers, on the whole, get their asses handed to them in MMA, but most who are trained in any martial arts do not rely on their "stand up". The days of the Vito Belfort or Phil Barone style "fast hands, power punch, lights out" are pretty much gone.
Take Tito's ground N pound away and he would have probably lost to even Shamrock. If Dana really has decent amateur boxing experience, dont be surprised if Tito comes out on the bottom of this match.
