Franklin Owned!!
Franklin got his ass BEAT....he left with his nose on the side of his face!!
never seen him so completely controled. Silva by KO. Sherk new lw champ, but Florian is oe tough mutha....he used his elbow to cut sherk and he bled the entire time....went all 5 rounds. Sherk dominated but Ken-Flo can take a beating like nobody....seemed Kenny had a chance to win somehow. Every fighter I picked to win lost!! Every one of them! Even Kongo did nothing against a unexperienced wrestler...SHerk Flo was the best fight by far

yeah man silva kneed his nose so bad you could tell the thing wante to break through his skin like the crown of an infant's head peeking through a dialted vagina.

Man seeing ace get man handled was worth every penny expect a rematch soon but imo gonna be the same results. Sherk did good as well that was the best fight. Kongo looked like crapo imo

Franklin didn't have a chance with those knees. Florian/Sherk was the best fight, it will be a good rematch.

WOW, I have never seen anything like that before. A champion who is so dominating in his division get worked like that. It wasen't like a lucky punch or haymaker landed, this was purely a brutal beating. Wish Franklin all the best in recovery and I cant wait to see a rematch.
Happy that Sherk won, but I thought he should not have let it go the distance. I disliked Florian, but he can protect and those elbows are going to become legendary....

Kenny got blades for elbows...he had a tiny little distance to land those 2 elbows and Sherk was pouring blood like crazy...Sherk landed heavy hard elbows and didn't even put a dent in kenny's skin....and that powerbomb that had Kenny landing right on his head would have knocked out most people, didn't even phase him. Kenny has never been KO'd or even rocked in a fight or practice. The dude got a hard head. LOL did you see Ken-Flo's Raiden from mortal kombat outfit.....thought he was gunna blast sherk with lightning bolts
-
10-14-2006, 11:23 PM #9
heh, for sure, Raiden all the way... what would have been sweet was if Florian didnt get a hold of the fence and Sherk took him for a 20 foot power bomb Hughes style.

yeah florian opened a cut but c'mon now herk dominated the living **** out of him. 5 rounds and all florian did was open a cut at the hairline and land one solid mid kick. that was 25 minutes of pure pwnage florian needs to up his game a little before he can get anothr shot.

My lord Franklin got embarassed. He thought he could over power Silva in the clinch, but with the Muay Thai training clearly Silva was too much. Cannot wait to see Silva fight some more.

If you got a ball of muscle lifting you above his head, normal reaction is to grab for anyhing to lessen the fall. not a pussy move, you'd do the same

The whole fight the ref warned him about grabbing the fence. I can believe a reaction to grab the fence but not hold on for dear life

also kenny was trying to get some genki like charisma but he is just a flamer. I despise kenny florian

yeah i've noticed a strong inverse relationship between the pussiness of a sport and the level of assholery it produces, basketball being the primest of examples.

Good fights..don't disrespect Florian, that little bastard stepped up big time and made it one hell of a fight and definately made Sherk work for it. Who woulda thought that? Not me.
Silva on the other hand, i knew would be to much in the striking department and figured Rich would have to rely on his wrestling but Silva gave him no ****ing chance and i dare say Franklin's body is torn up, looked like he ate a knee to the liver and then one dead on the chin and then another on the button.
Once again, Anderson showed how scary his Muay Thai is.***No source checks!!!***

I think if spencer fisher wins his next fight he will get the shot but I see sean taking that one spencer has good powerful hands but sean has the faster hands and probably the edge in subs if not equal and I would say much better wrestler

Not to mention this was Sherk's first fight at 155lbs, i know he practiced making the weight but until you get in their and fight, there is still a question mark there. Now that he has fought at 155lbs and is now champion, i am sure he will make the proper adjustments to keep himself in peak condition.

Silva's clinch was phenomenal...I never thought he would own Franklin that quickly.
Sherk was just too strong for Kenflo. Going to be some good fights coming up at 155 though. BJ Penn anyone?

spencer fisher will get eaten alive by sherk. hell lauzon took him down like 3 times in 3 minutes.

I actually feel sorry for Rich Franklin, he got owned just like that, but Anderson Silva is sooooo amazing.

Yeah i couldnt believe how Florian lasted through that fight. He gave sherk a nice cut too. I give that guy a lot of credit, he showed a ton of heart in that fight.
I honestly didnt know what to expect in the Franklin and Silva fight. Im a little upset that Franklin got beat down so bad but thats how it goes sometimes. Silva is one tough SOB and he is going to dominate the ufc middleweight division IMO.

Franklin kind of reminded me of Rampage in Wandys Clinch.....no way out!, I give it up to Rich Franklin though, a real class act as champion and I hope he recovers soon.
-

My boy Rich got it handed to him! I bet his nose was whistling like Jim Carey in "Me myself and Irene" That Tai clinch was incredible! Hopefully it will be a better rematch.

yah...he really showed that he didn't train how to get out of the muay thai clinch. But i spose not many "mma" fighters do.
bout the sherk fight... florian did a great job surviving. But i swear for a black belt...that was the weakest half guard i have ever seen.
