Rich Franklin salary is a joke
I cant beleive that he been around that long and is damn salary is such a joke.
Last UFC event he made 21000$, Spencer Fisher made 20000$ for is fight?
Each time i see Franklin paycheck for a UFC event it just frustates me.

I agree with you here, but realize that HE signed the contract before he got the title. In fact, he's coming up on the end of his current contract, so his next one should be exponentially better. But you're right, $21000 for a title holder is attrocious.

It wouldn't have been that much more. Unfortunately he signed a pretty sparce deal before he made his run at the title, and he was forced to live with it until now. Would have come up a lot bigger with a win against Silva, obviously.

He was signed to a 7 fight deal, jesus christ if pride paid there fighters that everyone would be saying how good it was ok they get endorsements etc also mma is not nearly as big as it is in japan so they can not afford to pay there fighters as much. Jesus I am sure Franklin is doing just fine.

Thats the UFC for ya. Thats how it was with the Babalu and Liddell fight. Chuck got around $200,000 and Babalu got $21,000. If i was Franklin, win or lose i would be demanding more money for fighting. Im sure that $21,000 dollars he got will cover his hospital bill for reattatching his nose.

He is one of the best fighters in the league and he knows it, come re-sign time, he will throw his weight around and Dana White will listen if he knows what's good for business.

Franklin is good to his contract. I have never heard him complain. He is worth way more as his name sells PPV's. When his contract is up I hope he is given his fair share or he might just leave. Then again, he seems to love his fans and to entertain them.

Give this man some credit. He's doing right now what most of you cannot. I respect that... I disrespect anybody talking sh-t on anybody for getting up there and living their life, even if that means they get knocked down.
