mma testing
does any one know if there is steroid testing in mma?

this question is way to open in smaller shows hell no but in big shows hell yes.

hmm i never knew that i was wondering cause some guys look huge like randelman, kerr, and belfort had a real sick physique and some others so i was curious

Pride does not test. UFC does a little testing.

ive heard the ufc only tests main events and title fights but like i said tahts just waht ive hear...they cant test hardly at all in pride. juiced up fighters: Bob Sapp "juiced up like ronnie coleman" , Mark Coleman, Phil Beronni, Mark Kerr, Sean Sherk....youy know some of those guys are hittin the sauc3 pretty damn good.

come tothink of it how could they test in pride where some countries roids are legal... so fighters could very well be from countries where it is legal

UFC randomly tests...Monson was chosen not too long ago and I think he might have even been on the undercard that night.

It's not the UFC itself that tests, its the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC). If the UFC wants to do shows in Vegas, they have to put up with the NSAC's rules.

Pride doesnt follow an athletic commision but has made it mandatory to test for illegal substances such as drugs. But steroids are not tested because steroids are not illegal in japan and their use in sports has never caused cheating/disadvantages/problems in the general sports scene in japan.
