    Question for the WWF?WWE fanatics

    Did anyone every figure out who shot the camera in Hulk Hogan's face, which caused him to lose to (I think) Yokozuna at Wrestlemania. This is when the anouncer proclaimed "Hulkamania is dead!"

    I was a wrestling fan at that time but now i just cant stand pro wrestling anymore.

    Raw is war with DX talking about cocks and vince for over 10 minutes in the ring, the new path that wrestling has took has been bothering me for a while.

    Hell i dont even watch NWA TNA

    thing is those kids taht watch it now love it just like you did... your older now so its harder for you to like those immature things they do.. i personally love it.. some of it is stupid but you cant take it seriously or look at it serious... its sports entertainment the propaganda they use and saitre with is used to draw in ratings... wwe is a billion dollar buisness they are doing something right... RAW is the longest running tv series in the history of television

    I dont think its because i am older i just got bored of the Stone Cold Steve Austin era, where the punch and kicks made up a whole match.

    Athletes became brawlers, WWE left the super hero image and went on the wrong path with sex sex and more sex.

    The whole idea of wrestling entertainment isn't appealling to me. I'd much rather watch UFC, Pride, K1, etc.

    maybe but WWE is doing something right they still beat out all those shows in ratings... also the thing with stone cold was he wanst a great wrestler but he delievered his character so well... in the older days thats more how wreslting was... now they do much crazier things in the ring than they use to... and yes they do turn to sex, sex, sex, did i say sex? to appeal fans its marketing... you cant buy any magazine any where that doesnt promote sex or sexual imaging to appeal ppl to buy it... thats the way society is today

    yah...i'm pretty sure when they put the "wrestling" description in this forum...they didn't mean acting / slapping each other but real wrestling.

    I haven't been interested in watching wrestling since glo girls left :P

    Another thing Zimmy is right, no flame intended but this forum is for MMA, and wrestling does mean real and not the fake crap on tv.

    Most of the pro wrestling fans post in the lounge.

    Sorry guys. I didn't mean to cause an uproar over a fake wrestling trivia question. (BTW it might have been the King of the Ring in '93) I thought wrestling meant the fake stuff as well. I probably should have realized that this is more or less a mixed martial arts section of the AR.

    WWF was great from 1988 til 1996 or 1997, when DX came in and Austin with is punches and kicks that all fell down the drain for me.

    After all pro wrestling is all about bigger then life unstoppable heros like Hogan and Ultimate Warrior, Sting, Lex Luger......

    Guess that pro wrestling meant something in that era, there was a lot more respect at that time.

    To many damn rappers in it LAX, and other yo yo yo, i just cant stand that crap.

    WWF/WWE really went to crap after the steroid scandle. When all the larger wrestlers left for WCW, and smaller wrestlers like Bret Heart and Shawn Michaels took center stage.

    WCW was really behind WWF untill the superstars moved over. Hollywood Hulk Hogan was the best villian character in wrestling history. NWO > DX. Even NWO Wolfpac > DX
