Barnett wants Fedor

My toughts on this is that Barnett should take it easy for a while, he been fighting a lot this year and i dont think is body is ready for another huge war against Fedor.

I dont think he will win either he got 3 losses against Mirko CroCop.

Its a very interesting match up. Josh is a good wrestler with decent striking and excellent subs. Would he beat fedor no but would he make it a fight most deffiantly could he pull a sub out yes there is a chance, a good chance? No but it would be a fight without a doubt.

barnett almost submitted the best submission artist in the game (nog). i think fedor would be favourite in their fight, but barnett has a chance. besides, after the mirco/fedor fight, weather fedor wins or looses, barnett is the obvious next in line for a title shot!

Barnett would spend much more time on his back and he is not great off his back look at the barnett vs pawel. he is not great off his back good all around subs but not great off his back. Pawel couldn't do much damage cause he is pretty new to the game but you dont want to be under fedor. Also pawel rocked him so if fedor lands a punch he will end it.

pawel was juicing and got busted, so you have to give him that. nog's takedowns are shit because i think he prefers working off his back and is very effective this way. barnett is a bigger and a very strong wrestler. that is the worst martchup for fedor. look at the arona/fedor fight. that is as close to fedor loosing as hes been. some may even argue that arona won that fight, so barnett's chances arent that bad!

He is effective off his back and very good there but I would bet money he would prefere to be on top. Barnett is big and I good wrestler all american in fact and that is a bad fight for fedor but remember no striking to the face in rings when on the ground so the arona fight is hard to measure. Barnett has a chance but thats it a chance.

you're prob right, i just think that the only two people with a chance are barnett and crocop, i dont see anyone else even comming close.

Barnett has as good a chance as anyone, which isn't very good. Fedor is too fast for Josh, he"ll make him look bad like he does to everyone else>

Judging by Barnett's last fight, i think his body needs a rest. The OWGP spanned the whole year and he has not had much if any rest and it showed in his last fight, that and Nastula is just that good.

Barnett could not afford to have an off night against Fedor.

The chances of josh pulling off a sub on a 2 time world sambo champion are kinda slim I would say. Being as he can't beat cro cop and cro cop can't seem to beat feydor.... It's a long shot at best

Agree it is slim thats what I said but josh is also a incredibly talented catch wrestler who has placed well in adcc. He came very close to finishing nog and Josh can take fedor down, he is an excellent greco wrestler. If he could maintain top position he could win. Will he win? no.
