After giving it some thought, i cannot help but remember how much Dana and Vince McMahon despise each other..enter Pride (DSE)..Pride is trying to get a foothold in the US and if you have to become friends with your competitions worst enemy, then so be it.
I see Pride being friendly with the WWE long enough to establish a "household" name in the US and then they will split off and do their own thing, i could be wrong but it makes sense IMO for them to befriend Zuffa's worst enemy.***No source checks!!!***

yeah i saw that article on wwe.com this morning... i think the meetin was probally about ways the two can work together to dominate the ratings over ufc... i know wwe and pride both compete with ufc... obv pride another fighting org.. but one of ufc's main goals when they went to spike tv was to overtake the ratings from wwe when RAW was on spike.... plus if you ever search websites like rajah.com that has info on pro wrestling and fighting there is always articles comparing the ratings of ufc and wwe being they compete for television ratings... i have no idea what they can pull off but muriloninja that was a good idea bout PRIDE going to USA Network

Love or loath WWE the fact remains is that everyone on the planet practically knows what it is and this can only be good publicity for Pride.
