Don't tell anyone...
I ordered the UFC PPV this evening...starts in a few minutes. What have i done? Please do not tell anyone, ok, thanks!
This just proves what i have said all along, i am a MMA fan not a Pride only fan (believe it or not). The UFC has enough interesting fights on this one that it is worth watching (Diaz, GSP, Hughes, and even the Sylvia-Monson match will be funny to watch). Still hate the $40 price tag..****ers. (had to get one bash in)
Cheers!***No source checks!!!***

Can't believe Sakara went out like that...I expected a lot more from him in the UFC after I saw his fight with Faircloth.

Kinda disappointed i must admit, no Diaz and Sakara needs to grow a pair or go back to boxing. He was winning the fight for god's sake, gets hit a little and drops to his ass and lets the guy TKO him. The Sylvia fight was ok when Monson took the oaf down..but my god does Sylvia bore the hell outta me. My g/f
alm sot got sick looking at him.
If i did'nt know better i would yell work on the Sakara fight.***No source checks!!!***

Yeah the Sylvia and Monson fight was pretty boring but you gotta admit that Tim's take down defense was pretty good in that fight.

Tim take down defense was pretty good but after monson gassed he didn't go in to finish it. He keeps talking about knocking people out but its hard to do when your afraid to commit. I mean he got a verbal tongue lashing from bjm and still did nothing. This was like tim was sparring much like AA for the 3rd time

Syliva vs Monson must have been a pertty patetic and boring fight 25 minutes after how much time did they both gas out one round.

tim didn't gas monson did around the 4th. Tim was just wouldn't commit even though monson was visibly gassed and his takedowns yeiled one succusful takedown and I believe a reversal/sweep

I have already debated this aspect of the fight. It is not that hard to stop a guy's shot when that is all he has. Sylvia had nothing to worry about except Monson shooting, you can do that all day.
Notice when Monson finally engaged with his hands and then changed levels, he got the takedown. The rest of his attempts were from outside and even Sylvia can sprawl outta that.
The exact samething occured during the Nog vs CroCop fight, Nog shot on CC for the entire first round without setting it up with his hands and CC sprawled all night long and dished out a beating, then in the second round, Nog threw his hands and then changed levels and got the takedown and won the fight.
This isn't 1993 anymore, these guy's gotta realise that plain shooting is not very effective in the big show.***No source checks!!!***

I also believe what alot of the MMA media are stating that Sylvia is trying not to lose his belt instead of going out there and KOing people and trying to finish the fight. And he wonders why the fans do not flock to him, and i am sure the flipping off of the crowd after the fight did not help him in that regard.
