It will never happen, both sides blame the other so the truth is probably some where in the middle. Both fighters would fight one another its the companies faults for not allowing it to happen

The UFC would rather have Chuck fight opponents that cannot throw a solid punch and can only grapple.

They are back peddling now saying Wanderlei is not worthy since losing to CroCop (#2 HW for god's sake) and should win some fights first.

I think that since Pride has so many conspiracy theories rolling around on them that possibly Pride payed Dana White under the table to advertise Vanderlei. Advertising him means advertising for Pride FC because Pride needs to capitalize on the North American market, which UFC dominates. But theres a hole in that theory. Since UFC dominates it,, why would they allow Pride to advertise... hmmm i need to think about this more,, lol

No, Dana is infamous for making some stupid announcement before it is a done deal. Like i said, they are back peddling now saying Wanderlei needs to win a few fights first. I still laugh my ass off when i hear them say that.
