was tito liddell even a good fight?

Andrie showed that he is not that good, Eric should good jitsu but sub par stand up. Bisping was ok, a drop to 185 may help. Pe de pano did ok but he knew he was being feed to andrie. Chuck proved once again grapplers are his best match up. Tito showed improved striking poor game plan. Gonzaga just proved how bad kongo is(by impressing Merello). Chris leben showes little improvement. all in all 6 out of 10.

You could tell Tito was done after the first round. Even though it went to the third round it didnt matter, Chuck had the fight won before it even started. I really want to see what happens when he gets his rematch with rampage!!!

I knew chuck was gonna win,, i actually trained with chuck about a year ago.
They had that idiot ref Mario Yamasaki. Tito got his ass kicked 1st round, ref shouldnt have stopped so quick because it makes it an excuse for Tito so he can talk shit. A few more seconds and chuck would have totally kicked his ass. DUmb ref, they shoulda put Big John in there, and he would have kept them going like in the Desousa fight. I am by no means a Tito supporter but this gives him another reason to chirp.

Has i said UFC still needs a lot of work, good for Keith Jardine, i didnt like that guy a lot but after seeing before the bell on the fight network i can say that he trains is ass off.

The only 2 fights that really mattered to me wehere when Keith Jardine kicked Forest Griffins ass. I am tired of Forrest Griffin, He's a good fighter but something about his persona and the way he carries himself just gets to me.
I like Tito but he talks to much shit. I am so glad Chuck handed his ass right back to him again so now he can shut up. If there is a rematch, I hope Chuck just busts his ass up again, so it puts an end the his mouth and he eventually realizes that until Chuck is on one legs hopping he doesnt have a chance at beating the IceMan!
Chuck just drops blow's on em!
Another thing is that Chuck is very modest for the ost part until prevoked. All he said is he was goingto hurt Tito. Tito after hs fight with Vitor Belfort. He said he was going to kick Chucks ass.
Chuck sure proved Tito wrong-again for the second time. Time for Tito to realize he is SECOND best.abstrack@protonmail.com

Chuck looked pretty good if ya ask me. Ive said it a million times and i'll say it again, tito cant take chuck down and if he does get him down, Chuck will get right back up...............and guess what, thats exactly what happened.

I was happy to see Chuck throw that elbow up against that fence in that spinnning move to get out of Tito's hold. An inch closer and the fight would have ended there. I like how Tito quickly checked if his nose was still on =)

i have question, when tito went to the ground and chuck was on top pounding him with fists.
why didnt chuck go for kick to the head or to midsection?
or thats not alowed in ufc?? only in pride??

You can kick to the body but not the head, collar.
-
01-01-2007, 01:54 AM #34
Their allowed to kick to some extent. But when he was on the ground there was no need for kicks. He was just pounding Tito with Bombs.
You question would have been better worder in the MMA section and just purely asking the question" Are fighter allowed to kick their opponets while on the ground and to what extent are they allowed to?"
Right now you are reffering it to the Chuck and Tito fight.abstrack@protonmail.com
