I dont think Tim is scared, he likes to fight. The more people keep saying that he doesnt have a chance against Crocop, the more he will want to prove them wrong. Not saying he would beat Mirko, but he does have a chance.

I agree with this. He'll except the fight no problem.

As far as Liddell and Rampage, i can see Chuck winning this time. He is a better fighter compared to back then but im sure rampage is too. It'll be interesting to see who wins this one. Im rooting for Liddell of course.

Chuck seemed like he was in his worst shape in awhile. He had a hard time with Rampage the first time because he pushed the pace so much, cant wait to see them again, Im sure Rampage will be at his best for his UFC debut.

    Rampage!

I don't care if Rampage had a few losses, do you not remember who those losses were to? Wanderlei and Shogun for god's sake..two of the elite 205lbers in the world and last time i checked, Liddell does not have a brutal clinch game which is exactly what spelled Rampage's doom.

Chuck has not changed that much at all not to mention has been fed non strikers, Rampage will get in his face and push Chuck around the cage. Remember i said this, Rampage is just a bad matchup for Chuck just as Wanderlei and Shogun's style are a bad matchup for Rampage.

Every fighter has that one particular fighter/style that they clash with and Rampage just happens to be that fighter for Chuck.

Rampage is a good wrestler, solid striker (when aggressive), has awesome defense from punches, and his slams are well documented. Not to mention he has a very solid chin (no punch is as ****ing hard as the knee Wanderlei crushed him with and that was also after a face smashing punch).

I find that statement kinda hard to understand. Rampage is 29 years old... Chuck is 36 and will be 37 when they fight.. How can you say a 29 year old fighters prime is behind him... If that's the case we need to get liddell a wheelchair...

I think Chuck would rather lose to Tito than to lose to Rampage twice. Rampage would have to put on his best performance yet to beat Chuck again.

This fight is too tought to call, Liddell has a great set of concrete hands but as Murilo said, Jackson took what, 6 or 7 knees to the head in the first fight with Silva before going down. Im not sure if Chucks hands hit as hard.

The difference between Tito grabbing Chuck (which he managed a couple times) and Rampage grabbing Chuck is that Chuck would avoid the takedown. Rampage is just going to slam Chuck down if he gets a hold of him, not shoot for the legs which Chucks sprawl wont allow.

Regardless of the victor, this will be an amazing fight

i find your statement hard to understand. why would you think age is the only thing that has to do with prime? jackson just doesn't seem to have what he did at one point. what has he done in the last year?

For starters he won his last three fights. In the past five years he has three losses... One to shogun and two to wanderlai the two most dominant fighters in the world at their weight both of them are capaple of ending chuck liddell...... He also beat Matt lindland and Ninja Rua in the past two years... two excellent fighters...

And chuck has faced almost no competition from the grapplers that ufc has fed him in the past three years.. with the exception of a 43 year old randy couture. I am not saying he is not a good fighter I just don't think he is by any means the best.. 4th best maybe

Chuck will win by tko, I give Rampage almost no chance of victory in this one. If he tries to push the pace with Chuck too much and gets over agressive Chuck will knock him out with his counter punching style. and if he stands and tries to exchange with Chuck he will get the worst of it. Chuck by tko. and Once CHuck beats him, he has nothing else to prove, and I could see him retiring sometime soon.

Yeah he in my mind did not beat ninja, ninja got robbed. I also believe lindland won that fight. Not to mention Lindland is 185 who moved up. Chuck matches up like crap against rampage. I give it 60/40, in the favor of rampage.

Nothing left to prove? Lil Nog, Shogun, Silva, Arona. He has plenty left to prove and I like chuck, but still alot of great fighters out there he has not beat.

Shogun and silva I could see but Lil' Nog and Arona should both be ranked behind him. Which at lowest would put him third.

I can agree with that... As far as whether ninja was robbed I don't know... I watched the fight I think that one needed a re match.. and I like lindland I think he was just overmatched at 205

Definitely agree. This is exactly why Couture would have come out of retirement if Tito won last week - he knows he can handle Tito's game; but he can't be Chuck (anymore).

Still - I think Chuck has the luck of the dark lord. He may live forever.

According to the judjes Rampage beat Lindland. That was a bad decision. Liddell vs Rampage 2 will be a great fight, but i think Liddell keeps winning until he fights someone with equal stand up and great takedowns.

I have on other threads. I think silvia is a tough match for mirko due to tim's height, solid stand up and good ground game. It's gonna be difficult for mirko to connect his left shin to silvia's head due to tim's height, but there are still low kicks. I still think cro-cop wins, but i don't think tim will be a pushover like virtually everyone else does.

I agree with this wholeheartedly... I belive Filipovic will win but 6'8'' or 10'' however tall they are saying he is now with good stand up and a decent ground game is a challenge for anyone. Except Fedor who I have previously stated sold his soul to the Russian Satan in return for superhuman powers.

CroCop will take the first round to chop Sylvia down with low kicks. Shouldnt take much as Tim has twig legs. When your legs get sore you dont have much punching power and you tend to lean forward and lower your hands a bit... look out, head kick.

someone was attempting to tell me that silvia could catch one of his kicks and end it that way... But if some of the best Thai boxers in the world in K1 can't catch his kicks I don't see why a 260 lb fat ass could...

I'd pick Chuck this time around. I don't think Rampage is the same fighter he was when he was rolling through Igor, Randleman, and Arona. He got beat down 3 times really bad in a short period of time, that will take its toll on anyone.

I've seen rampage beat liddel so many times. So it wouldn't be a suprise if rampage beat him again. I would like liddel to win though! ( Yah! for liddel kicking Tito Ass twice lol)

No rampage beat liddell once, couture beat him once and Horn beat him once. Rampage fough lindland and got a gift decision like he did against ninja. So you must have lindland and Liddell mixed up.

your right happened once in 03 in the GP. I think they are confusing the lindland fight which happened in the wfa and Rampage got a gift decision.
