Wanderlei vs Hendo II (Pride 33)
DSE announced that Wanderlei will defend his title against Dan Henderson on the next Las Vegas card February 24th at the Thomas & Mack Center.
I must say that while this match up is interesting, it pisses me off at the same time. Just why in the **** do Pride think Hendo deserves the fight when he has'nt even defended his own WW title yet and what about LIL Nog?
I don't think i am going to Vegas for this one...
Pride wants to be taken serious yet keeps pulling this stupid shit...i swear they having ****ing idiots running the show.
This fight is about as meaningful as Tito vs Chuck II
Oh..and Wanderlei by KO!***No source checks!!!***

pride is getting smaller by the day. with ufc signing crocop, rampage, and machida, pride needs to step it up because they havent done much lately. they need more us marketing, i didnt recall seeing one advertisement for their new years eve event they had. anyway back to topic, what weight class are they gonna fight at? im guessing 185

Yeah I was hoping he would fight Rogerio, although Hendo did put a nice lump above Silva's left eye, that was nasty.

I liked their first fight and I think Dan will give Silva some trouble. This is also not a bad marketing job for a company that is trying to break in the US market. Does the American public know Lil Nog or Dan Henderson more? I would put my money on Dan for many obvious reasons.

I am feeling better but still not sure i am gonna fly out for it. I have no doubt it will be entertaining..i just want fighters to fight in their ****ing weight class, it only makes it more idiotic that Hendo is the WW champ and has not even defended it once.

Pride just wants to cram as many american fighters on the card as possible. They desperatly need a piece of the u.s. market and they think think this will help.

i think dan would have better chance if fight was at 185. silva seems like a natural 205 while dan seems like hes gonna have to put on some extra weight. i could be wrong but just based off looks, 180's seem to be the most natural weight for him, putting on extra weight that ur body isnt use can effect endurance quite a bit

He didnt do much in there first fight except eat a lot of leg kicks when he was on the ground.
Wandy is coming off a loss and Hendo is the king of the decision so i guess we will have to wait and see this one.
