Mirko: When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training for K-1 in 1994.

What ranks and titles have you held? 2006 PRIDE Open Weight Grand Prix Champion

Do you have any heroes? My father

What is your favorite technique? I'm a striker.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It's a new challenge.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Yes.

What was your job before you started fighting? I was a police officer, and was then promoted to Special Police which is an Anti-Terrorist unit called ATJ LUCKO. I then ran for the Croatian Parliament, representing the capital city of Zagreb, in 2003 and I was elected. I was fighting already when I was a police officer. I'm currently serving the Croatian Parliament (the equivalent of US Senate). So, it's not like I did something before I became a fighter. I've been a fighter all through my career as a public servant.

Eddie Sanchez: When and why did you start training for fighting? 2004. I trained in BJJ and started cross training. I wanted to challenge the skill level of my technique.

silva is my fav fighter and i thought he was dead after mirko ko'd him. the side of his head just split open when his shinbone struck. silva said he couldnt even see it. His right eye was swole shut bad luck considering mirko's best weapon his that bionic left leg. I'm still convinced mirko is a robot but fedor is still hands down best in the world.
