    Wanderlei vs. Liddell -its coming

    Ok, I know we have been hearing about this fight for a while now, but I have a feeling that this time its for real when they announced it at the last UFC.
    So, do you guys guys think that Wanderlei will take liddel's title?

    Personally I think liddell is gonna tap that ass, but of course, wanderlei has gone up against cro cop (albeit he lost)- who we all know is an Ironman, and other major strikers from Pride, so maybe he might be ready. Of course lidell has fought in Pride too. sooo... I am confusing myself.

    That fight isnt going to happen. Chucks gonna fight Rampage way before they even consider having Silva and him fight.

    I know they still ahve to fight a couple of guys each before it happens, if each fight turns out good for them and they end up head to head, who do you think?

    ok...imo....rampage is gonna take the title from chuck.....but thats my opinion....i may be bias b/c i just cant like chuck. i think rampage or wanderlei will beat chuck...at least i hope so....no doubt chuck is a bad man just hope he gets his a** handed to him....plus rampage is one of us good ol tennessee boyz...holla

    I think Jackson has a better chance of beating Chuck than Silva. His head is hard enough that he can take a couple shots getting into Liddell for a takedown/slam/G'n'P. Personally, I think a Silva fight would look much like the Belfort/Silva fight of almost a decade ago.

    chuck is gonna fight rampage but thats not gonna be summer/fall 07 at the earliest, once this happens hes probably gonna lose making silva/liddel fight pointless when liddel isnt champ, if he wins then it could happen but even if it did we're talking winter 07/08, by then who knows what will be happening in mma.

    You may be right..lol..in 1 way ( I think ) , but I tell you that Liddle will not have it very easy with wanderlei.. I mean with rampage he would kick his ass, but wanderlei is though and scary mo fo

    Keep in mind, with all of this speculation, that the UFC's rules are different from PFC. Once Chuck was put into PRIDE's rules, he didn't fare too well. Silva fared better in his element as well, so the mixing of the two is a complete unknown.

    To say that one would completely dominate the other is just silly. These are both professionals at the top of their game and would no doubt prepare justly for a fight of that magnitude. All-in-all, it would be very interesting to watch!

    I from what I heard (from a Joe Rogan interview) Pride had no intention of going through with this fight. They were just happy to get Wanderlei in the octagon wearing a pride shirt and calling out the UFC champion. You couldn't pay for better publicity.

    I'm not an iceman fan... but i've seen em both fight alot and I have to say... liddell is a much more accurate fighter...but all it takes is one lucky hay maker... i still think wanderlei would loose in the long run.

    Zimmy I kinda agree, styles makes fights. For example I think if Silva fights Arona again(rubber match) he will lose. In fact I would say silva would lost 7 times out of 10 against Arona. I believe Arona would lose 7 times out of 10 to Rampage, finally rampage will lose 9 times out of 10 to silva, why? becouse styles make fights.

    Chuck and Rampage are scheduled to fight May 26th.

    As far as Chuck and Wandi are concerned I have heard people say that Chuck is dodging him... I don't think this is the case at all. I think they are both vicious competitors and the only thing holding them back is Dana White.. Lets be honest whether you like either one of them or not do you actually think there is anyone they are afraid to fight?
