Staphylococcus... It's a particularly nasty bacteria.. It lives around the nose and anus quite frequently you probably got the s. aureus variety... thats the most common for the face.. Just take your meds and listen to the doc and you will be fine bro.. Just don't do anything stupid if it worsens it can leave REALLY bad scarring... especially if they have to cut dead tissue away from your face.
Sorry for the medical lecture... lol

how early they catch it? Is it swolen? Did they have to cut it? Honestly bro... if you have a fight in a month... you have to have some bro's who are willing to go w/ you anyway. I'd go w/ you w/ staph just so you didn't loose an edge.
I hope it's not the resistant strain... that shit stays for atleast 3 weeks.
p.s. staph is still contagious a week after the wound heals.

this sucks man, no im not going to put anyone else at risk for it. everyone i train with fights and they all have fights on the 23 and 24th. ill just lay low, do some bag work. the first bits of it seem like they are healing up but new ones are popping up around the old ones. good stuff... bactroban sucks
