This weekend Jason “The Athlete” MacDonald get his chance to move one step closer to his dream of becoming UFC Middleweight Champion when he takes on former Champion Rich Franklin. Jason has been on a tare lately, going undefeated in 2006 with two big UFC wins over Ed Herman, and Chris Leben. He looks to continue to play his role as spoiler when he heads into Franklin’s backyard this Saturday at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
