I recognize him from this fight I saw a long time ago ... which he lost.

he's a street fighter who looks to have decent boxing skills and power but many people on many boards tend to think that he would do well in an mma fight. the guy you saw beat him in the video fought once in the UFC and got destroyed in a matter of minutes. same thing would happen to Kimbo.

he's just a thug that most couch fighting fans like to see cus it's bloody...car wreck affect. Same people like him who like vids of untrained kids throwing wind mill punches and gayness like that.

I'd leave Kimbo alone. He is the human equilavent of a Rottwilder or Pit Bull. He mostly has exposure because he works as security guard for porn stars in Miami. Not bad work if you can get it. He would get his ass handed to him in a MMA comp, but on the street and in the club, I wouldn't **** with him.

I have yet to see a post where anyone said Kimbo would do well in a mma fight. It's the devout mma fans on this board who continually state that he would get his ass handed to him in a mma fight.

Why is he a thug? What proof do you have of him being a thug. He's a street fighter and bodyguard. There was a rumor floating around about him being an ex con but a member of this forum who works in the correctional field in florida found no evidence of this. He doesn't throw many windmill punches. He has great head movement and his punches are short and pin-point just like a decent boxer would have. His opponents are horrible, but no one is forcing these cats to fight. It's obvious by the Gannon fight that he wouldn't make a good MMA fighter because he obviously lacks conditioning and mma experience, but you cant take anything away fromt the man's obvious skill.

Please post proof! I've scoured the net looking for info on Kimbo's supposed criminal record and history. Not saying that it doesn't exist, just asking where the proof is.

I said it already, i could care less if he spent all his life in prison or if he is a model citizen (which he can't be for illegally fighting). Good...well... whatever, I can not remeber exactly where the interview was on the web. It was actually that white guy who always says "finish him Ferg" that did the interview and gave some background on Kimbo. It might have been on his site look up stuff for south beat records.
