can anyone explain this fight to me?

I just came across this fight on youtube while watching some other fights. I don't understand why Coleman would have thrown the fight, if in fact he did. It sure looks like he did, but maybe someone else who is familiar with the fight can explain it to me.

im talking about him throwing the fight though, not about his lack of knowledge on the rules.

Here is what the guy wrote that put the video up:
"Mark Coleman disgraces himself, the sport of MMA and the United States of America by taking part in a fixed match with Nobuhika Takada.

Coleman was paid $50,000 to allow Takada to submit him in the second round.

Luckily Coleman wasn't alive in 1941 or he would most likely have helped the Japanese bomb Pearl Harbour!"

I never heard about this before now.....crazy.

No pride lined this up and remember pride did/does not answer to to any atheletic commision in japan. Takada has one un-fixed fight and that was against royce. This fight was clearly fixed. Takada said it was fixed and I believe coleman may have even admitted it.
