    Boxers on juice

Would like every one's thoughts on how many big name fighters in especially boxing or MAA or juiced?

We'll never know for sure. I know boxers get popped pretty often so I'd say that if a few are getting caught then there are more getting away with it. In mma fights in the states I think that all title fights are tested and random screens for the undercard. In Japan, I know that they don't test at all (that might change).

I'm sure there are several cats on this forum who can tell you about MMA fighters that juice. In boxing, James Toney tested positive, Evander Holyfield was under suspiscion, and so was Mike Tyson. Tommy Morrison also admitted using. Lots use stanazol for rehab purposes. And usually they are only tested in championship bouts so it's unknown exactly how many juice.

Boxers, I can remember a few. I remember Francois Botha lost a title in 1995 after a steroid test. Fernando Vargas tested positive in 2002, after his loss to De La Hoya. Roy Jones and his opponent in 2000 both tested positive for androstenedione (sp?), or some pro-hormone. Orlando Salido lost a title after a steroid test, just recently.

I think Kimo had a positive test. The commentator of the Couture-Sylvia fight this year said Tim Sylvia had juiced at some point. I think Vitor Belfort tested positive for a prohormone. I don't remember if Ken Shamrock ever tested positive, but people were always accusing him of it, and he looked like a huge juicer. I'm sure there's a bunch of juicers in MMA, and boxing too.

Here is a big bomb I am fixing to drop on everybody: Are you ready? Pro athlete equals performance enhancing drugs. GASP! Anyways, on a side note,
you would think fighters would stay away from juice as to not gain excess weight, but I could see winny helping out. Mike Tyson was huge in his prime, an absolute ape. I miss Mike. Those were the days.

I definitely think alot of the MMA fighters juice and boxers as well.

Also, what type of steroid would be beneficial for MMA and boxers in terms of improving hand speed?

I believe Tim Sylvia tested positive at one time as well. Shane Mosley was named in the balco probe. James Toney was stripped of his heavyweight title after he fought Ruiz because of a positive stanazol test.

Shane Mosely was rumored to have been working with Balco Labs (while fighting at Jr. Middleweight).
