    TUF 5 thread

    Team Serra vs. Team Hughes
    So far I like Hughes coaching style better than Serra. Serra is warm and fuzzy and wants his guys to know he's got their back and he's with them in the cage the whole time. Hughes just tells it like it is and gives good advice. He is definitely a dick, but you watch, he will produce some good fighters. Serra's boy Joey looked scared as hell to have to fight Mac Danzing. You can tell this guy is not a fighter at his core, his is probably a very good ju-jitsu guy who doesn't like to get hit. Once he fell down from getting dinked by a knee I knew this fight was over for him, his will was already broken. I figured when he got on top he might get comfortable but he had already given up at that point. You can see he doesn't even attempt to get out of the triangle. Looks like another great season.

    Well, as with all TUF series, I taped it and fast forwarded to the fight itself.

    WTF...I've got big time respect for Danzig, but Serra's boy giving up was weak. I couldn't believe it when I found out he was a Serra BB. No effort at all to prevent that triangle...it's one thing looking for an out in a fight, but by letting someone tighten up a triangle in the last ten second, as a BJJ BB was very difficult to watch....

    i dont know who won either, because the finals will be live, not pretaped like the show you see now on spike. i just know whos in the finals. some people would rather know before spike will let you see, so i threw it out there for fun.
