Elite XC have signed him?? Now then, i got the perfect fight for Kimbo. Elite XC joined up with Cage Rage back in sept of this year.
There is a heavyweight whos name is Neil Grove, totally unknown, came out of nowhere, and in his last 3 fights at heavyweight has a time fight total of something like 6 minutes in the cage. His first 2 with Cage Rage tough guys were stopped pertty much straight away, his last against Buzz Berry, didnt reach the second round.
He is 6'7 and 350lbs Approx from south africa.
He is a instructor at the University of Westminister in london (my old gym).
Im not saying this coz i know Neil and woudl like him to kick ass, i really think Kimbo is a product of good marketing.
This would be an great fight, given how much power Neil has i think he will stop Kimbo quickly!!!!!!
Guys expect a meeting between these two.

James thompson on a Pride Veteran was heavily rated as being the favourite after stopping Don Frye in Pride 34.

I think that Kimbo vs. Tank match still sounds entertaining.

yeah, if James Thompsons bull rush doesn't work then he's pretty much screwed.

Kimbo is a nothing unless he really ups his game and learns to fight MMA for real... none of this no chokes/knees/whatever crap. He needs some cardio and some intense training and maybe he could be something with his raw power getting some guidance but for now, he's behind the power curve to START training MMA and trying to be someone big IMO.

I agree, but knock outs work. You are of course talking about a guy who got hit by Butter bean and didn't fall asleep (ref stoppage). It is clear in that vid after Neil connected it was lights out time. That's where Kimbo would end up too.
I think any guy who knocks out well tempered fighters time after time, and normally in the first few seconds has to be taken serious.
