    what happened? kalib who has been impressive in his last couple of fights, but all of a sudden decided that he doesnt like to get hit. his corner should have should have thrown in the towel and faked an injury. two of the most embarrassing fights in the ufc, luther and starnes, on the same ticket.

    really what the heck happened to him? has any one heard a post fight interview or any thing offering an explanation? i watched the fight in a bar and couldnt hear the post fight interview for all of the booing. if so please post link.

    he said he broke his foot in the first rnd. he also said something about the ufc didnt pay his medical bills and he didnt want to get hurt further, blah, blah, blah.

    im relieved that he at least had an excuse. the broke foot didnt seem to slow him down from sprinting around the ring.

    Yeah, the broken foot thing is BS.

    I interviewed Starnes and bullshitted with him for awhile one time, and he made fun of a bunch of fighters for all kinds of things. He can dish out the criticism, but he can't take it.

    my guess: there was some sort of contract dispute and he wanted to put on an awful show, and get released from his contract, which happened. this is the only way that fight makes sense.
