Fight radio (funniest thing i even heard) Liddell says Fedor is over rated
Seems that everyone is calling out Fedor theses days.
They just love to talk trash before the fight but when he stand infront of them its a different story.
In the interview Chuck said that he wants to fight Fedor, that he is over rated and that he would knock him out.
I dont know if Chuck Liddell who lost twice this year wants to try and ressurect is career.
The only way he would ever get that fight is if he got out of is UFC contract and went to fight for Affliction.
All in all i would really pay to see that fight and see Chuck Liddell fall down like all the rest, then of course give a good excuse for losing the fight.

Is that comming from a dude who lost 3 out of his last 4 fights ? 2 of them to the TUF Show projects. Of course he wants to fight Fedor because there's money. Everyone wants to fight Fedor and every one loves to hate a dude who has the first rank in the world. YOU HAVE TO DESERVE TO FIGHT FEDOR. Until you do , keep training and watch the past videos thinking who should've won IF.......and only IF.......
We have a very good saying about those who use the word "IF". It translates like " IF my grandma had a d**k , she would've been my grand father"

There is no one in here dellusional enough to even try to come to Chuck's rescue on this one. Chuck was on top of the world for a few years and has always been tough but he is 205'r and if he actually dieted he would probably be fighting GSP for the welterweight title, okay maybe not that bad but Fedor is a different animal altogether. Its just stupid to try and run him down. I find it humorous that everyone talks shit on Fedor yet he never says a word.

^^^ Yep...
The guy is done. Rampage just has his number. The Rashad fight i honestly thought hed win.
But i guess hes done for sure now. Ive heard talk of him moving to HW recently. Dont know how true it is, but that would just be a further disgrace to his legacy.

Nogueira, Couture, Werdum, GG, Kongo, Velasquez, Carwin, Herring, and Lensar to name a few...
I think all most not all would beat Chuck. Either way hes not gonna be that great if he does move up.

Yeah cause Wagner da Conceicao Martins, Mark Coleman, Hong Man Choi, and Matt Lindland all deserved it right? Ok dude...
And now this?
http://www.sherdog.com/news/news/fig...in-works-14810
And you do know that he has a loss on his record right? A loss is a loss bro. The guy is as close to unbeatable as they come, but hes still beatable.

He has a loss on his record but he wasn't beaten... Fight was stopped due to a cut... Anyone can lose and no one is unbeatable but he has yet to be beaten...

Its just a record. Even if Fedor had lost the first 6 fights of his career would that make what he is doing now any less impressive?

I never said Fedor is unbeatable. Noone is . Are u talking about Hunt's fight ? Stoppage because of the cut I believe. I dont understand why u're trying to argue with me over every little thing War ? U might not know that , but Randy beat him on GrandPrix. I bet u didn't know that ! DID U ?
I AM NOT SHERDOGG MEMBER AND NEVER WAS MY BROTHER ! PLEASE, LETS GET OVER THAT.
Yes, they did derserved to fight him . They were fighting in PRIDE at the moment and were next in line. Even Hong MAn Choi imo. He's not super duper fighter, but his fight was supposed to be very interested because of the weight difference and hight difference.
About the link , there are so many fighters that aren't known. My hometown has 3 kickboxing Euro and world champions, but most of the people including me - dont know their names. In Russia its like this. U grow up in the conditions that worse than projects you have here in the states. Im not even kidding. When I was growing up , I wanted to be a swimmer and I almost turned pro, but because I had to fight for everything (u could get your sneakers taken from you by walking home from school every day) I had to stop swimming and start fighting. We had 2 TV channels. TWO ! Cartoons 15 minutes a day in total . We had no entertainment, good food or good clothes. I remember being 10 years old and we were just standing around and body punching each other full contact in order to get our little bodies adopted for body shots. By age of 12 I already knew where to punch/kick, how to punch to make most damage. At 14 I stopped counted how many people lost their splins because of me, had their jaws or cheek bones broken etc. Where I am from , you either know how to fight or stay home 24/7. Still, I dont want a fighting carrier. I dont want to get into that , but u can imagine if u live around so much violence and violence is the only way to survive, u graduate to more dangerous things. U learn weapons etc. On top, the former Soviet Union broke down and the chaos was unbelievable. Everyone was involved in organized crime or get his feet wet. If u are a fighter, 99.9% u were connected. We had Crime Bosses Sponsor fighting schools, sponsor competitions and pick their future " torpedos, bodyguards or soldiers". Sorry off topic again..... my point : do I believe that they'll find some good fighters ? hell yea, they might. Will they be at the level to fight "Fedor"? HELL NO! But anything can happen. Like Matt Serra won TUF and took the belt from GSP ( because of a number of special circumstanses such as GSP's family problems, right punch at the right moment etc.). If Fedor gets his ass whooped in St. Petersburg - I'll be in SHOCK.

Brown Ninja , I appreciate you being cool about the things. I might come off as a d*ck to you guys , but I swear I dont mean it whatsoever. So Im sorry if I do ! War - that's to you to my man. Never meant any disrespect toward u. We might have disagree on some things, but we gotta stay above the BS, u know what im saying?

Everyone is just breaking balls a little. No big deal, we are all men. The Serra thing is quite a bit different than the Fedor example though. Yes he shocked the world but he has been world class since day one. He had already fought a lot of the best, beat some but always put up a tough fight. No one thought he would win in that fashion but anyone who knows anything knew that he had a chance. The Fedor show is the equivalent to some roofer who has been in a few bar fights showing up and arm barring Fedor.
-
10-17-2008, 01:36 PM #17
hahaha I hope not the roofer thing. Didn't they say that the great unknown fighters will be participating ? If they're not world class fighters its nothing but a joke ! I mean remember the original TUF guys like Forrest fought each other ? It was great , but they werent nearly on the level to fight their coaches Randy or Chuck. Imagine that Diego Sanches or Kenny would get a shot at MAtt Hughes back then ? He would've bend em into a pretzel for breakfast. Fedor's management is scared I think. Scared of Fedor loosing and he'll lose money.

Kenflo vs. Hughes back in the day would have been a train wreck. Hell Sanchez and Kos could probably beat him these days. I doubt Fedor's managers are that scared but I guess that anything can happen. Maybe they will have Pawel Nastula on there. That guy was ultra tough in the Pride days

I picture War asa something similar to Arona in his prefight interview before the Ninja fight......minus the jean jacket.
"What? He's going to teach me about respect?!?"
"He's going to teach me about respect???"
"Me about respect?"
Voice raises...."I'm going to teach him about respect!"

Hell yea he's scared . Fedor is a chicken that lays golden eggs for him. Fedor being rank #1 means a lot of money for him. Who wants to have a commercial of their merchandise or a product with a dude who's 8th in the ranks for example ? Gamma-O supplements maybe lmao. But the heavyweight champ of the world can sign Adidas or Nike . The giants of the sport industry. Fedor used to manage himself in japan until signed with M1Global. I really dont know how this thing works. For me it makes more sense if the fighter fights more and gets more money. Of course there is a risk to lose, but to keep a fighter out of the game for a long period of time and let him fight once in a blue moon with the guys like "MAtt Lindland" and "man choi" ? I mean they were on the line not because they deserve it " deserve it for real" , but because they deserve to fight him for the simple fact that he beat better fighters and that's what was left. He fought coach Neguera 5 or even 6 times in his carrier. Do u know that ? MAtt lindland should be fighting guys who's 2 categories lower like Spider or Rich Franklin. I mean , Man Choi fight should be interesting, but honestly did anyone had 1 single doubt he'll win ? Of course not.

Fedor has fought No three times in his career, winning #1 and #3 while #2 was deemed a no contest. Some feel Nog was winning in #2 but still thought Fedor had won that fight up until the "cut". Fedor being independent of the UFC unfortunately, in the past, has created some less than ideal match-ups. Lindland is world class but at 185 and Choi is a douche bag that makes Kimbo Slice look like the real deal. As far as the tv show is concerned I am not so sure that he will end up fighting someone at the caliber of say a Werdum or Sylvia.
