It was dehydration.....he always took crazy trips that were extreme and just go out in the woods and shit like that. Well this time he went out into the desert and I guess his equipment didn't hold up and he wound up dehydrating and dying. It is a damn shame.

I bet de-hydration would hit him hard too being in the shape he was
I doubt very much he could have been able yomp for 25 miles on a few glasses of water in normal conditions let alone blazing heat.

That's really sad. Evan was a lot of fun to watch in the octagon/ring. I have experienced both heat stroke and heat exhaustion. Luckily for me, medical care was readily available (was part of training) in both instances. One minute you feel OK, the next you're going, "Whhhhaaaaaaaaa?" If there's anything good to come out of this story, it's to always travel in pairs with a buddy.
