Decembers UFC!!!
Check this out....
http://mmaweekly.com/
This card is insane. I for one am stoked to see Page and Wandy go one last time. Evans v. Griffen will be really interesting as well. Hopefully they can pull together some nice undercard fights as well. But at this point I would buy the card just based off the Big Three.
Nog - By his underestimated boxing
Wandy - By Clinch
Griffin - By Stick and Move???

That is gonna be a AMAZING card...
Im ready for Griffin to smash Rashad(who i dislike very much).
Wandy to brutalize Page... Again, and again, and now for the third time again!
And Nog to retain the title in stunning fashion.

Woah, now that's a stacked card. Im interested in the Okami vs. Lister fight. That has the potential to be a great fight as well.

I think Lister can sub him... No doubt...
Though Okami has very underrated JJ...
The Boogeyman can catch him

Ah man...and here I wanted to see Franklin vs Silva III, Rampage vs Chuck III, Herring vs Nog IV
/sarcasm
Wand vs Rampage III is about as goddamn dumb as it gets, I want to see new and exciting matchups for these guys. Goddamnit I have seen Rampage get KTFO 2x by Wanderlei already. I mean wtf?
People use to give Pride hell for this kind of stuff (Wand vs Sakuraba III caused a huge uproar at the time).
Whatever, i'm sure Wanderlei is happy...he obviously knows how to destroy Rampage. I can't wait to here Rampage try to convince the world how Pride helped him get KTFO and that he was robbed. hahaha
At least he won't fall through the ropes this time, just bounce off the cage and hit the ground instead.***No source checks!!!***

What an amazing fight! I don't care what anyone else says, this fight will be insane. It's not as if the first two were bad. The cage brings a whole new element so you never know what could happen, especially with Page having far superior wrestling. I hope it ends worse than the second time!

Does anyone see Mir or Page pulling the upset? Do you guys still think Griffen goes in as the favorite? I think that will be a very interesting fight.

I dont need a reminder Murilo, i saw the first fight live at the Tokyo Dome. I have to tell you, its still as brutal as ever...
I dont see either winning. I think Page has a better shot though...
Lets see... Forrest is the champ, and beat Shogun and Rampage and Rashad has a draw with Tito and KO over Chuck... Umm... yeah id say Forrest is the favorite.

Get any blood on you from that?
Wanderlei has the tools regardless of the cage, if he gets a takedown, what then? GnP? Far from good at it against Wanderlei's BJJ and defense. Rampage has better hand speed now, still can't check a kick to save his life.
Wanderlei will be training with Forrest anf others at Xtreme Couture..no shortage of quality pros to train with there with Forrest being his main sparring partner.
Sure, Rampage can win but I would obvously favor Wanderlei anyday in this matchup. Styles make fights and like Wanderlei said before the 2003 Grand Prix, "I will make him my new Sakuraba" and he did 2x***No source checks!!!***

I was backstage as close to front row as i could get... It was brutal... You shouldve seen his eyes after the fight... Looks like he was inches from the grave.... Though he kinda was...lol

Agreed. As far as Evans and Griffen are concerned MMA math can be very decieving. I am pulling for Forrest for sure but Evans is one talented dude....even if he spends the first two rounds doing nothing but crouching and moving laterally. God it would be nice if Forest knocked him out

MMA MATH is the dumbest thing ive ever heard of...
If that crap is acutally true my friend Aaron Brink could beat Randy Couture's ass...Last edited by WARMachine; 10-02-2008 at 11:17 PM.

I don't see Rashad beating Forrest.
Rashad has good hands, I think Rashad and Rampage have very similar styles with the boxing but Rashad carries less power and less explosive power. Forrest fights safe, I don't see him getting caught with his hands at his waist like Chucky.
I think it will make to be a boring fight, Rashad nipple tweeking will be the most entertaining part.
Wandy/Page will be a good fight. I know it's happend before, it's been almost 5 years since their last fight. Then Wandy had not lost a fight in 4 years. Now, he's lost 3 of his last 4. Page has won 6 of his last 7, and has beat some solid guys, his hands have improved and IMO definatly feel he has a good chance of catching Wandy while he is throwing some looping haymakers. I've yet to see Wandy use a clinch with any effectivness in recent times.
I think that fight could go either way.
Mir should not even be fighting Nog, it's embarassing.

Forrest is gonna be huge compared to Rashad, that will be one advantage. Forrest doesn't just stand in the pocket looking to bang and also uses good foot movement.
It's gonna be one of those wired feeling out processes for awhile, I see Forrest taking the intiative though.
I would pick Forrest by TKO.***No source checks!!!***

I hope you are right about Griffen with a TKO. Mir is going to get wasted on his feet.

God I hope Forrest doesnt lose to Rashad, I say Griffin by rear naked. And I think Nogs going to put on a show for everybody.

If by show you mean beat Mir in the first 3 minutes, yeah sure, great show!
I cant wait!

His boxing is sick. Mir is going to look like a fat slob with no stand-up. So pretty much like he does every fight. Its going to be ugly. Remember when Mir almost lost to Dan Christenson???
