Vitali Klitschko vs Sam Peter tonight on showtime who wins?

Sam Peter is defending his WBC HW title against the 4 years retired former champion Vitali Klitschko, who wins and how? I`m saying Klitschko via KO.

I have to agree. I am not sure if we will be lucky enough to see a KO but I definately see a Klitschko victory. He is so talented but usually so lackluster. Hopefully he comes out and makes it a convincing victory.

Half thru that last post I realized something.....I don't give a shit about Heavyweight boxing. God that is sad to say but its true. I have always been a boxing fan, especially before MMA, but even after that I have followed closely and have a great amount of respect for the sport but the upper weights are a joke these days. If any you can convince me otherwise, please do but right now I don't have much love for any boxing above Margarito, Floyd, Pac Man, etc.

Well as much shit as I talked I still ended up watching it. Peter looked terrible and Klitch looked very sharp. He absolutely dominated that fight from the very beginning. Still, for me, Heavyweight boxing is slow at best. The Tarver fight was much better and much more competitive. Its nice to see multiple punch combo's and movement as opposed to stalking an opponent and just dropping heavy jabs. Just my thoughts....

Its not worse , the champions are the champions . They just got bigger and size of the ring stayed the same. There a certain technique that trainers like Emanuel Stewart developed for tall big guys like Klichko brothers. There are many more Russian heavyweights and cruiserweights. Ibragimov was undefeted until he fought Vladimir. U just want the fight to be exciting and 10 thousand punches thrown , but if u ever take a heavyweight's punch (im not talking some street fat bastard, I mean the guy who knows how to punch). U'll feel the difference. Its not 140lbs category where they can jump around beat the crap outta one another for 12 rounds. And still when Kostya Tzu was a champ in 140lbs for many years(russian too by the way) , he was putting people to sleep in first rounds (I love his fight with Zab Judah)

You are entirely right. I am not saying that they are pussies or do not hit hard I am just saying that for my money I would much rather watch the little guys throw rapid fire rather than see an enormous heavy stick someone with a very stiff jab for 12 rounds. I miss Tyson

I miss Tyson too ! Young Tyson (before JAIL) . I even miss Evander. He was originally a cruiserweight , so he could move around and I loved watching his fights.

Holyfield would be great at Muay Thai with his clinching ability! I was watching ESPN Classics the other evening and they went thru Tysons career. Dear god he was amazing. It still leaves me in shock that some of the toughest men in the world were literally scared to fight him. Its not like Tyson was forcing some guy at a bar to fight him, he was fighting top notch competition that was getting paid to face him and they were still scared! Amazing

He was a dwarf height wise but he could get inside and just wreck people. That tight stance and those hooks were unreal.

And uppercuts too. He was throwing them from almost a complete squat. That's how u do it right - the energy starts at your feet to your knees to legs then torso , shoulders , arm , elbow, fist ..........."BOOOOOOOOOM" LIGHTS OUT
