Forest Griffen is rumored to have knocked him out at Coutures gym while sparring.

Sucks for MMA! Dana is smart though i cant knock him for making an obvious buck. He is trying to drag the mainstream into his brand as much as possible for obvious reasons.,...people are in business to make money..period..until someone starts a charity MMA league that can somehow convince the Fedors and Machidas ofm the world to fight for charity..this is going to happen...I GARAUNTEE Dana will not let Kimbo fight for a while so he can stay in the house as long as possible and be a fukinn show clown for the public. I don't see anything wrong with putting Kimbo in a UFC fight and letting him get his beard handed to him by anyone else there, more people will see what a street fighter really can do in REAL SPORTS! yeah this is not sitting well with me either, not at all.

You have to remember that the guys in the house are not supposed to be world class. Its a place for professional fighters with very limited experience, which Kimbo is. Everyone needs to stop bitching and get over it. Its not like he just got a title fight after 3 pro fights.........

dude, you missed my point entirely. I didnt ask for a solution to any problem, just agreeing with Dana White's move on this one. I just added my opinion that Kimbo is a clown. Really easy, I sure as hell am going to watch, that is entertainment. I just think it isnt sitting well with me because I think the show will not be fair for the other fighters, two of which I know personaly. I just don;t like Kimbo thinking how they changed the whole format of the show for him you know

i think that it is great for the sport. it will expand the fan base, grow the sport and illustrate the skill and ability of mixed martial artists. kimbo was great for mma, he proved to the world that even if you are the 'baddest' man on your block, that doesnt mean crap when you get in the ring against a trained fighter. if he had never done that and only faught in back yard brawls against nobodies than in the ignorant public eyes he prob would have died the baddest man on the planet.
props to kimbo for being a man and wanting to earn his fame and prove himself the hard way, the right way, the only way.

Kimbo has been training MMA for awhile now and I'm sure has stepped up his game a little since his loss. I think he should do fairly well. Its not like he is still doing street fight vids and is just stepping into the cage. He's been training with great fighters and probably working on his weaknesses.

I remember hearing about this. Apparently it was another bullshit rumore spread by Dana. Dana is a good business man but I don't respect someone who blatantly makes shit up about other people to try and make them look bad. To me that just shows how much of a douche bag he really is.

I don't think he will win it but I am interested. I am very curious to see how he interacts with the other fighters.
