Sure size and strength are big factors in a fight, that’s why we have weight divisions but it’s not everything. If it came down to that then lets all just get on our best bulking cycle and get in the cage.
I admit it was a good performance by Brock and he is getting better each time we see him but I’m going to wait till he faces a decent opponent

I would love to see that fight! I am not sure who I want to win, cause I can't stand Lesner, and Shaq fighting the champ in his first fight? I don't like the protocol. It is too WWE; to let money dictate the entire arrangement. We need people to earn their way to the opportunity.
That is almost as bad as letting whatshisface on Ultimate Fighter without fighting into the house.

Shaq cannot walk and chew gum. He would get decimated

Did you say shaq would be defecated?

Size has nothing to do with it. Lesnar has spent most of his life taking people down. He would make shaq tap within 60 seconds.
A small guy that trains, and has great technique can whip a bigger guys as$ that doesnt have training or technique every time.

Love or hate the WWE, Lesnar was throwing 500 pound men like Big Show around the ring like they were nothing. Shaq would be no problem. Brock isn't just big and athletic, he's ridiculously strong as well.

Dana is low but not that low. Shaq isn't even a relevant NBA player who the faq wants to see his fat ass fight?

This is the kind of crap that MMA is trying to get away from. They have tried hard for years to shake the circus act, freak show image. A fight like that would be a definite step back in that regard.

I would take this as more of a fun fight for amusment and possibly for a charity then anything else.

Shaq should just hook up with Brett Favre and the two media whores that they are can do whatever they need to keep getting attention.
Shaq would get his ass handed to him...damn he annoys me

media whores.....well put!

hacks is what I call them
-
07-27-2009, 09:07 AM #26
its funny because these "hacks/media whores" are all one in the same. If they..ie: Shaq, T.O., Brett Favre and a handful of others dont have the microphone/camera in their face hanging on their every breathe they start to freak out.
Didnt Shaq try some kid weight loss program a year or two ago that also flopped?
Id love to see Shaq in the ring with Lesnar...thats just where he would get his big pie whole zipped the hell up.
The waters in their mind get muddied in the sense that they start to think that they are bigger than the game. That the game could not survive without them. Yet, the game has been there long before them and will be there long after them...they do not use the game...the game uses them.

Do you guys even watch basketball? For years he was the most dominate big man in the NBA. Even now, he commands double and triple teams everytime he touches the ball. How many youtube videos show Shaq dribbling down court and crossing people over. Definitely the best big man of this era.
But as far as fighting in MMA...that's funny as hell. Shaq is too beat up to seriously challenge anyone in the ring or any place else for that matter.

I'm sorry but wouldn't Shaq have to cut down to 265 to fight in the HW division? I think a 265 Lesnar and a 265 Shaq is no question in Lesnar's favor. Even if he's limited in his game he has a wrestling background and if you wrestle and have ever wrestled someone that doesn't, then you know what I'm talking about, it's easier than cow tipping and almost funny.. You'd just watch Shaq floundering around a lot, reaching for the sky and trying to get up, and getting smacked the f*ck around in the process. He'd learn real fast and might wanna spend some time practicing if he ever really let's this happen just so he can save face. Good luck to him just the same I'd be watching for the blood cuz I think they're both arrogant asses.
