When is the 2002 Olympia Weekend?
The Olympia Weekend will be held on October 16-20, 2002

Where is the 2002 Olympia Weekend held?
The Olympia Weekend is hosted by the city of Las Vegas, at the Mandalay Bay Hotel.

Hotel Accomodations
The Mandalay Bay Hotel had a special rate for Olympia fans. Please call (877) 632-7000 and use the code "Olympia 2002" to receive the special rate. The Luxor, which is next door, normally gives the special code rate for people who want to come to the Olympia Weekend, when the Mandalay Bay Hotel is sold out. Please call the Luxor at (800) 288-1000 or 702-262-4100 for room reservations. Of course, there are many other hotels to choose from.

Order Tickets by Phone
Prices for the shows are in the Schedule of Events' section. You can call Ticketmaster at (702) 474-4000, or call the Mandalay Bay Box Office at (702) 632-7580.

Order Tickets by Mail
Send a check or money order to the: IFBB, P.O. Box 1490, Radio City Station, New York, NY 10101.

Order Tickets by Credit Card
You can either fax (845) 634-8091 or email to [email protected] your credit card information. You can use either Mastercard, Visa or American Express. The information that is needed is the card number, your name as it appears on the card, the expiration date, your address and telephone number.

VIP Tickets
VIP Tickets are available by mail order or credit card only the IFBB Pro Division at (845) 638-9290. The VIP package ($600) includes:

Wednesday, October 16

Muscle Movie Night
Muscle Movie night will be located in the South Pacific Ballroom, starting at 8pm. It will be free to the public.
Thursday, October 17


Olympia Press Conference
A chance to meet all of the competitors of all three events, and a chance to ask your favorite bodybuilder or fitness competitor questions. This event is usually packed, so come early! 11:am at the Mandalay Bay Theater, Free to the Public

Fitness Olympia / Ms. Olympia Prejudging
The contests begins at 1:00pm at the South Pacific and Islander Ballrooms, where you can see the best of the best competing in the prejudging rounds. This event is free to the public.

Meet the Olympians
Come say hello to the Olympians at the Events Center Corridor from 7 - 10pm. VIP Ticketholders only from 7 - 8 pm. After 8pm, the event is free to the public.
Friday, October 18


Muscle Beach
Come and see your favorite bodybuilders working out in a 'replica' of the world famous muscle beach. This event is free to the public, and is located at the Mandalay Beach area, from 9am to 5pm.

Olympia Expo
Hundreds of exhibiters show off the latest sports nutrition products, where you can get tons of samples, great prices, and see fitness and bodybuilder competitors where they will sign autographs. This event is located at the South Pacific and Islander Ballrooms, and is free to the public. The expo is open from 9am to 5pm.

Fitness Olympia / Ms. Olympia Finals
The contests begins at 7:00pm at the Mandalay Bay Events Center, where the best of the best in fitness and women's bodybuilding battle it out. Tickets are $ 75 / $100 / $125 / $150.

VIP Cocktail Party
The VIP Cocktail Party, featuring the fitness and women bodybuilder competitors, will be at 10pm at the Mandalay Bay Beach area. This event is for VIP ticketholders only!
Saturday, October 19


Muscle Beach
Come and see your favorite bodybuilders working out in a 'replica' of the world famous muscle beach. This event is free to the public, and is located at the Mandalay Beach area, from 9 am to 5pm.

Olympia Expo

Mr. Olympia Prejudging
The event begins at noon at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. This is where you compare the best of the best in men's bodybuilding. Tickets are $50.

Mr. Olympia Finals
The Finals begin at 7:00pm at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. This bodybuilding contest is the king of all contests, where the best will be crowned. This event last year was sold out over a month before so get your tickets early! Tickets are $ 75 / $100 / $125 / $150 / $200.

VIP Banquet
After the Mr. Olympia finals, at 10pm, at the Islander Ballroom, come and be treated to a great dinner, dancing, and just plain having a good time with everyone. This event is for VIP Ticketholders only.
Sunday, October 20


Olympia Seminar
The competitors recount their feelings and experiences of the weekend. This event is from 9am to 11am. The tickets are $40, and available by mail order only.

Isn't there just a package where you can meet the atletes and only watch the men's show because nothing against the ladies but I have no desire to watch the Ms. Olympia, maybe the Fitness but all I wanna see is the guys.
