    Cardio timing problem

Well I know that just about everyone or at least most believe morning cardio is the best bet when getting ready for a show, as do I. But I recently got a job that wont allow me to do cardio in the morning because I have to be at work so early.

My question is, Can I do my cardio at night before I go to bed or will this just be pi**ing in the wind?

I eat my last meal at 11 at night and Id do my cardio and hour before that meal. My meal before that is at 8 and they both consist of the proper ratio of chicken for my protein totals for the day. I also eats salad with these meals.

    Any help?

its just as effective doing the cardio later in the day. key is doing it with the stomach as empty as possible. 2 to 3 hours after the last protein/fat meal would be good.

at that late at night you might have trouble falling to sleep after.

i have a schedule requiring me to leave my house very early and drive far. i have no choice but to do cardio after 4 meals, my last being turkey burger by itself. i cut out the olive oil in this meal and put it in at another time to try and keep things light. i usually have this meal 2 hours before my cardio. if i could i would stretch it out more but i cant. the results have been the same as am cardio which i did for years and years and i still do on saturday.

i am cutting and all my carbs come after the cardio. working very well.

Though many here may disagree, post workout cardio has been done by people I know because you are depleted of glycogen so you will burn stored fat. I wouldnt do more than 30min PWO cardio though.
