water retention in between shows
if i crap load with lots of high sodium food for the morning one, and then i take sips of water before the next show how bad is the water retention? i'm thinking that if i only take sips, which prob add up to 50ml (for eg), then the only water retention i'm getting would be from that 50ml of water right?
this is the first time i competed in a morning then afternoon show, they used to do everything all at a go. the worst part is that i gotta anticipate that they are going to reset the score between shows and i gotta look sharp at both shows.
my plan: crap load 6 hours before morning show. gonna eat more crap right up to the show. after the morning prejudging i'm going to have some chicken + white potatoes (fast carbs), and MAYBE crap load a bit more. after the morning prejudging i'm def gonna lose some water from perspiring so i definitely gotta take sips but i don't wanna risk screwing up my condition. i will cut water 16 hours before morning show, so by the afternoon show i'd have cut for 20 hours. (which isn't too long so at least i won't be too disoriented)
