    legs up to par?

ive been neglecting my legs for over a year now but my hamstring, quad genetics are good enough i feel i can bring them up to par in months but my trainer suggested i train them twice a week light and heavy to me this seems like overtraining? stats are 21yo 265 16percent show im planning on attending is in sept.

lol you guys and your overtraining paranoia.....that's like the golden rule for a lagging bodypart....train it twice a week once light once heavy

    ^^I agree.

I train 'em twice per week heavy generally...and my legs aren't lagging.

yep, legs twice a week and sprints/stairs on saturdays.

i do'nt know why anyone would just stop doing legs for a year though.....even if you are wanting to keep upper body mass, you put that on by putting on leg strength and mass....where was that trainer when you weren't working your legs?? you should kick his ass for letting you slack.

just hit them as hard as you can. you'll know if you start to overtrain. bust your ass right up to that point, if you go over, back it down a bit and continue.

    not hating, everyone makes mistakes.

and yes, they should overpower your upper body. they are the biggest muscles in the body! i kill my lower body because i want legs that are the size of my waist....i think huge legs are tits
